Bucket list twice for me; play the stage, then open up for an artist who had an impact on me to get back to my roots (I'm a drummer) when I saw him on the Lonesome Jubilee tour. Priot to that, I was a big jazz/fusion guy but seeing 3 hours of bringing it 'caused me to reinvent my style. Bittersweet memories that summer...

I saw him to days after 9/11 in Mansfield Ma. He was the only show in town. Only concert: no baseball or football. A lot of fear. For my friends and me he took that away and I’ll always be grateful.
