what is up with these hotels. This is horrible. No one wants to stay at that. it’s not magical at all. I want to buy DVC but that will not be my home resort.

Ummmmmm ..... regardless of the incident with the golf cart is true or not...... You're telling me that Disney doesn't have any security/surveillance cameras of some sort on the property in order to catch footage should something like that happen?!?!

Even when the real and fake are placed side by side, it is hard to tell them apart. You have to do this kind of forensic level investigation, which only shows that the fake kislux is very impressive and the real thing is really not worth the price. In fact, I am very disappointed with Chanel's poor quality in recent years and their customer service is terrible. The fakes look good at the moment

I think the parade name may be a bit long and will get shortened to just Disney Starlight. People don't want to use a sentence for a name.

I like it when there is support for things outside of the regular fan base (you know, non-celebrities). It does look like a slightly themed Hilton over at the Polynesian Towers. I am hoping there are Disney touches on the inside. It does seem to me that much of what I remember, and enjoyed, about Disney is slowly being replaced or downgraded. I will give a perfect example. For many years, the only resort on property that my family and I stayed at was the Yacht Club Resort. We stayed there for many reasons. It has arguably the best pool on property in Stormalong Bay. The dining was fantastic. It’s proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Those unobstructed white sand beaches. Since the unfortunate incident over at the Grand Floridian, they have placed “netting” along the shoreline of every beach on property that isn’t connected to a pool. This is an eyesore. The signage alone should be sufficient for people to realize that alligators and snakes are present. It worked for over 40 years and then because of parents not minding their own child in an area with posted signs, my enjoyment gets infringed upon. I am a father of two grown children who not only spent a lot of time in Disney, but elsewhere in Florida. We are from Long Island, NY. We don’t even have venomous snakes here, let alone alligators. They understood from a very young age, not to approach the water in Florida unsupervised. Not once would they ever go near the water without my wife or I around. Those beaches had great views of the Boardwalk and allowed for some breathtaking photos as keepsakes. Now, there’s netting (which is not stopping a single snake nor alligator) which is so out of place. If you want to have a good time, and make it home safely, obeying the rules of any establishment is a must. I’m tired of paying the price because of the least intelligent people around me. It’s not my fault, or Disney’s for that matter, that a little boy was killed on their property. Signage was in place. That would be like having a roof on all Florida golf courses because one person played during a thunderstorm and was struck by lightning. It’s Florida, any body of water can hold an alligator. To believe otherwise is truly a mistake. So getting back on track, people are making these parks less desirable. People that are not considerate of others, to be more specific. There were signs in place as a warning to stay out of the water. Signs that had been there for decades. Signs that went ignored by this family, but more importantly their own child went ignored. How else would they be allowed to go down to the water unattended? It does not matter that the family was from Nebraska, as stated earlier…I’m from New York. Your children are your responsibility, no matter where you are. Disney corporate also has this idea that intellectual property is going to “set them apart”. If I remember correctly, very little of the original park was intellectual property. Good attractions are what set Disney apart. So keep doing that. Long lines mean more money to Disney executives. You know what they mean to park goers, time to find another place to vacation. Don’t get me wrong, there are still going to be people going. It’s not a good sign when the queuing champions that Disney once was, have no idea how to control lines without charging. They seemed to never have a problem in the past and made more money than all other local theme parks combined. So why is it a problem now? At some point Disney will need to address concerns of all the park goers. Right now, they should be concerned with keeping the loyal fans. The ones with multiple visits. The ones that have been here all along. The ones that do call them out when things are not right. Because, if you can’t keep us happy…there’s no way you’re going to increase your share of the pie, let alone maintain what you have. Constant price increases have only managed to keep these parks afloat. Good businesspeople would have been swimming in money right now instead of figuring out where the next price increase should be. Ironically, if you lowered costs on nearly everything (20 to 25 percent) your profits would easily double. It’s basic math, even at a lower price…you’re making more money via volume of sales. It worked very well for Michael Eisner and the Disney brand. Something they should have already considered.

As a veteran of 107 cruises with DCL I can say this is a great vlog. Even though I disagree with you on the staterooms and the elevators, I actually think the elevators are the best thing about the wish, I agree the theming is much better. Tom I look forward to hopefully running into you on the maiden voyage in a couple of weeks. Maybe we can get a drink at the scat cat, I see Matt is the piano player and he is well above amazing, if you omen and I can give you my takes and have a awesome discussion. I maybe one of the few people who is really not even remotely excited about the Haunted Mansion parlor. If we see each other I’ll explain why. The maiden will be cruise 110 on DCL for me and I truly think it will be up there. I also think, as amazing as this ship looks, it won’t take the place of the Wonder as my Favorite. Anyway thanks again and I hope to see you on the maiden.

I agree with Josh Gad that the ride doesn't do Figment justice. It never did. I've ridden every version, including the original. But why not honor Figment with a fantastic new Journey Into Imagination with Figment 4DX Experience in the adjacent Star Theater, with moving seats, all the colors and scents, and thunderous scares, in a wrap-around 4DX movie complete with animatronic Figment and Dreamfinder characters! The Journey ride can then be gutted and replaced with a new version of Horizons, with Dreamfinder narrating an updated look into the future. Please make it so Josh Gad and Disney.

First of all, Tom, it's not fair to show off that sweater. I want one for myself so bad! Though on the subject of Figment; Gad, I might not be your biggest fan. Heck, Olaf annoyed the crap out'a me in Frozen 2 to the point where I actually cheered when he melted. That said, you have officially out on behalf of us Friends of Figment. We are extremely grateful for that!

Sadly, I really dont see them relocating MuppetVision. Its just not going to happen for a 34 year old 3D show, even though us fans know it's so much more than that. Some bigwigs obviously think it has run its course and its time to move on, just like Splash, JII and the Great Movie Ride. All of these recent closures are gut punches but I do feel that none are more devastating than losing ROA/Tom Sawyer/Liberty Belle because it is strongly going to affect the atmosphere of MK. Even though Tom disagrees, I feel that our energy should be put towards saving the River more than anything. Sacrificing atmosphere is a far worse crime than sacrificing a beloved attraction. But I still am sad and confused. Why are they closing a beloved attraction and leaving so many "just ok" attractions and shows? Frozen Sing-Along Vacation Fun Indy Stunt Show Beauty and Beast Stage Disney Jr. Launch Bay Walt Disney Presents All of these could go and there would not be as near of an outcry as this. Why are those still there but Muppet Vision and Great Movie Ride arent?

Josh Gad...I DON'T BLAME YA ONE BIT BRUTHA. FIGMENT IS LONG OVERDUE FOR AN SERIOUS UPGRADE!!! Actually, I could see him fill the role as Dreamfinder if they brought back the character. He would be perfect. CommuniCore Hall...OH BOY!! I've already visited the building over the summer and yeah I'll admit it didn't live up to expectations as promised. However, with the installment of the Spaceship Earth Gingerbread display I think they're taking baby steps towards what the building needs to offer. While only for the holidays, at least there's a centerpiece to grab guests attention, but there needs to be something amazing to look at throughout the year and the festivals as well. So who knows if this will lead to something in the future.
