Beautiful video, and very informative. What month of the year did you go, as it seems so quiet?

GREAT video! Planning a trip in early Oct. 2025. Can you provide more specific information on the exact location of the reflection pond of Ragusella? I can't seem to find how to hike to this pond and would love to photograph the reflection.

You never know what you’re gonna get in the dolomites. We were there mid September this year and it snowed and was freezing. Some of the cable cars were closed. Ice on a lot of the trails made them treacherous. We’ll go earlier in the year next time.

I don't want to upset you, but Ushba translates from the Svan language as "mountain bringing troubles". Не хочу вас расстраивать, но Ушба переводится со сванского языка как «гора, приносящая беды».

Normally I don't comment on videos, but your channel is exceptionally good. We found it while preparing for our trip to Georgia and with your videos and interesting information it feels as though we are already on holiday. Keep up the good work, you deserve much more subscribers.

Visiting Dolomites in late fall is the worst time of the year. No snow, no flowers, no leaves, just rocks. The only somehow useful thing about this video is mentioning places. But again anybody could google those.

Hi, we planning to take our parents ( dad is slow in walking ), my 1 year old baby to Kazbegi in September 2024. Planning to take a private tour and would like to stay in Kazbegi if not the day tour will be too tiring for the old folks. I noticed you stayed for 3 nights. I was thinking of 1 night, would that be too rush? I am not sure with we can do much trekking and an infant. So was just thinking of 1 night. How did u get to Kazbegi? did you guys drive?
@ChensofaLifetime4 ай бұрын
With mobility limitations, one day could be enough, but it depends a lot on weather conditions. The only time we saw the mountain without clouds was the first day that we got there, so with only one night, it may be a bit of a gamble whether or not you're able to see the iconic view. For more on how we got to Kazbegi, see our previous video (in short, we used gotrip.ge)! Have a great time!

Thanks for the vlog as gives me an idea of how easy the trail is. How far is the walk from car park to the start of the trail? Is there a refugio at the start of the trail?
@lisawalen33586 ай бұрын
Thanks for the detailed video. How was the road/driver on the way from Zugdidi to Mestia? Like are there cliffs and such? I am a bit worried about the marshrutka up in the mountains.
@ChensofaLifetime6 ай бұрын
The road and driver from Zugdidi to Messiah were decent during our trip, but I think it really depends on weather and road conditions. It's a tricky yet well worn path, so it shouldn't give you too much trouble. If you're concerned about the bumpiness, you could consider hiring a shared taxi (passenger car) with other travelers that are headed the same direction. It would only cost a little bit more, and people are regularly headed in that direction! Have an amazing time!

Hello, Thank You for this amazing video. Any recommendation for a good rental a car company and was it tough to find parking spaces? We are visiting in a week.

Have a great time! Unfortunately, we can't recommend the car rental company that we went with. In Ayder, it was very very hard to find parking, but everywhere else was okay! Have an amazing time!

Thanks for watching! We visited in mid-October, but the day we left, it started raining (and was scheduled to rain for a week), so I'd say late September and early October is probably the latest you'd want to go. Summertime is the best for access to all sights. Lago di Sorapis was disappointingly dry when we visited in mid-October.
