Far too rough with the dog. If you can't train them without shoving it about or even lightly slapping it in the face as seen in this video, don't tru and train them. In fact, don't have a dog at all. Unacceptable.

That is one of the most encouraging videos I have watched. So many just focus on the ‘perfect’ clip and the ‘perfect’ response. Thank you.

Some nice little skills shown in this video. Interesting to see how Jimmy trapped/held the tag end wrap between his finger and the vise jaw. Awesome fly too.

I just found these video's. What a great tyer Jimmy was. I managed to buy some of Jimmy's classic salmon flies before he died. He threw in a signed copy of his (and his wife Gloria) book too. Looking forward to seeing the other video's.

The lady uses the strangest way of mounting a gun i have ever seen , raising the stock too much and looking down the left side of the barrel instead of the top of rhe rib.

enjoyed this - impressive - but what training videos rarely show is how to break a headstrong dog - or not...some take years

Nice Fellow, a quick study.( www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/community/chi-ugc-photo-milo-demills-2015-09-06-photo.html ) My Cocker Milo is a quarter English the rest American Cocker. He is bright and energetic and loves to romp in the feld He is birdie and is starting to quarter. Retrieving is a challenge. He does not want to come in with the pigeon. He holds it nicely though.

Very informative - I have a 20month old Co ker butch and she'll do anything but finds it difficult in remembering to sit on the whistle while she's at a distance ie around 30ft from where I'm standing.... any ideas where I'm going wrong. .....??

I have a 19month bitch - she retrieves and flushes very well but I'm having a slight problem in getting her to stop/sit at a distance, she'll sit while she's close to me all the time but rarely will do when she's flushing. she'll always Stop and come back to the whistle but getting her to stop/stay still when she's lifted a bird/rabbit she seems to not like... Am I being impatient...? Your vids are great to watch ;-)
