What's your motorcycle? I got back into riding with an 07' Yamaha 650 V-star which was fine for the 2- lanes with 65-75 but the interstate was too much taking out 5th gear the 2nd year of riding. My 2nd bike an 03' BMW R1200 CL with the 6th gear which lets me run the interstates with no problem. I like to motorcycle camp because of the cost savings, motels are nice at times especially when wore out or taking the wife along. I'm going back to the 3-person tent over my 2-person which has a lot more room and my larger rectangle sleeping bag, larger pillow, over the mummy bag and inflatable pillow. I'm 67 and want to be comfortable. I take along a small dual fuel stove to boil water for coffee, dehydrated meal bags and instant oatmeal for breakfast. I usually grab a sandwich at a gas station and stop at Bar & Grills for a nice meal because it's more like a home cooked. Enjoy what you are doing while young. I have not been able to go on my western trip this year because the wife is in her 2nd year of fighting cancer and needs me around even if she doesn't know it. Really enjoy your videos, keep it up!

My bike is a 1100 vstar classic it's just right big enough for the road small enough to take in the woods. Yes never take today for granted because no one is promised tomorrow

50 degrees is about the lowest i can stand when tent camping. Anything around that temp and I am miserable. It's been hot and dry in Ohio. Several yrs ago I was tent camping near St. Louis. It was hot hot hot. I took a nice cold shower and by the time I got back to my tent I was dripping wet. Your cabin looks pretty nice and rustic. Blessings

Hey, man!!! That's not a proper magnet. And that's the wrong rope to properly magnet fish. You also need a Gator Aide bottle to keep your magnet from getting hung up. I'm beating the haters to it my man.

This device does NOT work as a bug zapper; it is mostly a lantern and dan. I don't recommend it if you need as a bug zapper. Will not work at all. Big hoax.

Mine works pretty good on small stuff like mosquitoes and gnats. It doesn't zap tho more like a slow burn lol

11:48 Why didn't you hammock camp off of the bike? Well not literally "off the bike", although I've done that too. I just meant carry the same kit that you carry backpacking as you would on the bike. The exact same gear that you carried backpacking will work on a motorcycle. Ride Safe👋 👽

@@Drifter. That's my plan also. I primarily use my Hennessy with a War Bonnet SuperFly, but I carry a generic bug tent and a Big Agnes Divide insulated sleep pad. Takes up very little space for those few times I can't hang or am looking to just crash beside the bike for a nap. Ride Safe👋 👽

It's 4 days long. Your typical rally live bands, races, bike games,all the parts vendors. They call it little Sturgis after the Dakota Sturgis

It is held at the fairgrounds so you pay of course to get in.$35 for 4 day arm band camping Inside is free if on a motorcycle. Rv has to pay. On the Inside prices are little higher but most people just go into town for supplies considering it's literally about 1/4 mile away

I beat it like a mule every day out in the desert and it has performed great. Other than normal wear and tear the only thing that I would recommend changing is the rims. They work fine but seems to bend very easily but to be honest I ride it pretty hard because they are so cheap and easy to replace.
