3 in 1 bug zapper/living in a stepvan and being comfortable/vanlife/ozark trail camping equipment.

as the warm weather is approaching the bugs and critters are starting to come out.i was in Walmart and ran across this 3 in 1 bug zapper in the camping section and decided to give it a try.anything that helps make life more comfortable is worth it.

The blinking light is for SOS the fan works on high for 2 hours works on medium for 4 hours. On my instruction it says power source 18650 rechargeable battery or 3XAA Battery . Where it hangs at you can unlock it and you can put batteries in it just found where the spot is at .

That's a pretty neat and cheap device there, Wayne! I agree about using it as light and zapper. The fan may be good for white noise on low.

I had bought something similar years ago to put outside my front door where flies flew in every time I opened my door & it worked great but I got rid of it because it actually attracted even more files & moths & bugs & filled up really fast but the grossest part is when it gets filled up which doesn't take long and then you have to clean the flies out by hand with a brush to empty and I just couldn't do it.... Too squeamish & too scared of bugs.... Even dead ones. Won't use anything like it again because if there re-usable you have to clean them out. Ewwww! Wayne.... If you wanna make sure it'll work you really need to use the light on it because that's really what attracts them in the first place as well as the warmth that it gives off. They love that.... Even fruit flies who have to have warmth to stay alive. Another super gross gadget for flies Is that you get a plastic fly trap with a small opening & they give you a packet of dead fish powder that you pour inside of it with just a little water & the stinky rotten smell attracts them to go inside to hopefully drown since most of the time they don't know how to get back out thru that tiny hole. I bought & tried it which also worked but some houseflies dropped their eggs inside on the inside walls of container which are hundreds at one time & then didn't take long for those to turn into live maggots/teeny skinny worms that were numerous & crawling inside as they could find & crawl out of the tiny hole on top....even the ones in the water because water doesn't affect them or kill them when they are in that maggot worm stage so you have hundreds crawling out inside or outside your home that all turn into flies with wings & then you have a HUGE infestation. They are everywhere!! Then they continue to mate & lay even more eggs/maggots on your counters, windowsills, everywhere & every room. Those you have to clean our/empty if you wanna re-use them. Ewwww!

Once an infestation you have to either use those expensive bug/fly bomb sprays in every single room & leave the house for hours with your pets til it's done self spraying but then you have that poison residue on everything inside your home & floors where you're pets are. Tales numerous day's to wash everything completely of after that. OR.... You must get an expensive professional exterminator but they use poison chemicals as well. Also both things here might have to be done twice in a row for those infestations & maggots that hid into cracks/crevices on baseboards, under cabinets, etc.

Huhm!!!🤔 In that case, I would just use it at night before going to sleep to get rid of a few wanderers inside my van. One or two mosquitos buzzing around and biting me all night can be annoying. It wouldn't be too bad to clean that up.
