I appreciate that the spear guy actually let Jorah grab his sword and get back on his feet beofre attempting to actually kill him. Just a simple unspoken character trait for a character that shows "we're keeping this a fair fight"

I preferred it in the books where this never happened at all, and the queen had a poisen attempt on her life, Tyrion was jousting with penny on a pig and a dog.. to have a hero fight a boar and lose, then drogon appears eats the bore and then the flesh of the hero and the place goes crazy leading to the fight before Danny and her whip have a stand off with drogon before flying away!! Oh my how the writers had no clue with this show at all it’s a disgrace and should be deleted from history

Iain Glen consistently one of the best actors in the show. He did phenomenal work in every season and was such a pleasure to watch over the years. Not a single other person could’ve played Jorah better.

I like this scene because It's one of the only scenes that show Jorah being so much more than an average fighter. When he fought vs Qotho, the Dothraki bloodrider to Khal Drogo, he won because he was wearing armor, not because he showed he was a better fighter. When Jorah fights in the great pit of Daznak, he gets pitted against a Braavosi water dancer and gets demolished until the spear guy saves him, and Jorah wins against the spear guy partly because it's a CQB fight versus someone with a 2m long spear. I mean Jorah doesn't even seem like the same guy in this scene. He just walks in and neutralizes everyone without any bloodshed.

I love that water dancer. The Meereen spear champion was a total coward and stabbed him in the back because he knew the water dancer would destroy him after finishing Jorah.

I love this scene, sad as it is. You can see the pain it is putting both Daenerys and Jorah through. I've said this before, but this is the first time someone has bluntly said everything - whilst Jorah is no longer working against Daenerys and has fallen in love with her, he did not trust things to go well if he told her the whole truth. There's the guilt and hurt on Jorah's face as he hears everything he's done with no stopping, and the anger and hurt on Daenerys' - her most trusted advisor didn't trust her. He's chucked out of one of the first cities she independently took, with him at her side.

One ending i could live with ❤❤❤

Daario deserved SO MUCH better. He literally rallies the entirety of Daenerys’ most trusted advisors and sets them on the right path. It was criminal what they did to his character.

Daenarys was a garbage human. I rooted for her early on, but she became a terrible human.
