voltage level dropped due to effective grounding provided by the grass and soil, better charge dissipation into the ground, reduced capacitive coupling from external electric fields, and low environmental electromagnetic interference. All these factors combined to minimize the induced voltage resulting in a lower reading on the multimeter. If you stand near a AC lines where high electrical fields are present, you will experience a higher voltage reading due to potential difference.

Well it might have worked for you; I went outside and tried exactly what you said, and Nada/nothing. So I will do some more research

Do you have any recourse with Sam Ash? The neck joint on these vintage Yamaha's were put on with epoxy, making for a very difficult neck reset.

They have a 45 day return policy, gave me an RMA, full refend... no problem. But that detail is good (and sad) to know, Jesse, thank you!

Sweetwater should refund you for the repair to the damage and take that junk stand back AND recall the rest already out there. Did you contact them ? Just money, money, money is all they care about, let the damage to your property be damned.

These boys haven't played together in that config in months, Brennan had never played that particular guitar before (1977 Greco TE-500 Thinline) so naturally had to experiment with settings quite a bit. Signal chain: 70's Crybaby wah (chase tone pot, true bypass mod), MXR CSP 204 Custom Comp Deluxe, AnalogMan-modified 90's TS-9 Tubescreamer, 1973 Fender Deluxe Reverb (internally black-faced)

Please forgive the crap bass, as usual, just scrambling to keep up with Brennan's never ending ability to pull something brand new out of the air. Since I'm so ignant of country/folk and its idioms I'm lost a lot but I'm working hard to change that and it is changing, mark my words. Next time!
