Oooh, good question! I honestly don’t know. They seemed like they were standard amenities (very nice ones!) and they were in both of our rooms. But we have occasionally had a friend or colleague send a welcome gift to our room on Disney trips so it’s possible this was something like that. The welcome letter with it was generic and made me think it was standard. But I’d love to hear other guests experiences, if anyone else has stayed there and would be willing to share!

She said it was not attached to the bathroom wall, but had a plug and it was pretty strong (she brought her own dryer with her but didn’t need to use it since the hotel one was good. Not as good as those Dyson dryers in the pool changing rooms though!) Have an amazing vacation!

We do too! If only they had a more traditional quick service food option they’d be perfect, in my opinion. But it’s so charming!

Ahh, interesting! I appreciate than many hotel have signature scents, even the deluxe resorts at Disney World. But Paris seems to be overdoing it! 😆

I was in Paris a few months ago and couldn't BELIEVE how strong the lobby smelled--it was very citrus-y. And then I got sick and realized I had Covid because I couldn't smell it anymore!

Hi! We have cruised three time since 2020- once in April of 2022 when masks were still required for staff and a lot of guests chose to mask in public spaces. And we’ve been on two cruises since without many guests masking, but there are always some and if your family prefers to, you won’t have any problems! That said, we haven’t gotten it on any of our sailings. Some of those trips were either post-booster or post- having a mild case at home, but not always. I do believe the heightened cleaning practices and reminders to wash hands all the time help a lot with keeping everyone healthy!

We are grateful for how some locations have built out more space for the security process but there are definitely certain times of the day that get bad bottle necks!

You can book 120 days in advance of your sailing (or 135 days prior if you are a RockStar). I have seen that some “shore things” (Virgin’s name for excursions) do book up, so it does matter!

I’m sure as our kids get bigger those 2BRs will become more and more necessary! And they are really beautiful rooms!

Disney Vacation Club is Disney’s Timeshare program. Once you have purchased points at your “home resort” you can use them each year. We usually stay at our home- the Boardwalk, but sometimes we swap them for another DVC location. You can pay cash for these rooms based on availability if you’re not a DVC member. They (like most time share resorts) have more of a kitchen, laundry and space than a hotel room, but they don’t get daily housekeeping services. There are lots of great DVC videos on KZbin. I’m just barely scratching the surface! They’re great rooms!

Oh, I’m so glad it was helpful! You’ll have an amazing time! Lots of folks in the dietary restriction community rave about Chef TJ at Cape May so if you get to speak with him you’ll get VIP treatment. But even if you don’t (he wasn’t there on the day we went) you’ll still eat well and have SO MUCH fun. Enjoy!
