All Details of Newly Renovated Disney's Boardwalk DVC - 2 BR Garden View Lock-off Villa Room Tour

The #BoardwalkVillas, part of #DisneyVacationClub at Walt Disney World Resort are newly renovated, and we were honestly worried that they'd remove all the charm of the Boardwalk with these updates, but the details of this room tour are not to be missed. It's pure sweetness, plus some of the coolest fold-away sofa beds (are these called Murphy beds?) that my kids can't wait to pile into. We'll show you the DVC kitchen (great for those with dietary restrictions... you can even place a Whole Foods order to your Disney hotel!) and my favorite update in the 1 bedroom's giant bathtub! Technically this is a 2 Bedroom Garden View Lock-off Villa but it's really a 1 BR (with a guest capacity of 4) and a DVC Studio (with a guest capacity of 5, oddly enough.) We'll give you all the details and show you some of the best perks of this room when bringing kids along to Disney World.

This is beautiful! I always book a two bedroom for our two kids to be comfortable and have their own dedicated closet (not the front closet that fills up), beds or large beds and bathroom. We got tight in the 1 bedroom at BLT. I always point in my videos, lol. Thanks!

Really hope they are done with the refurbishments when I get there this summer. I would hate to be in the outdated room if they aren’t done yet. New updates look great!

Disney Vacation Club is Disney’s Timeshare program. Once you have purchased points at your “home resort” you can use them each year. We usually stay at our home- the Boardwalk, but sometimes we swap them for another DVC location. You can pay cash for these rooms based on availability if you’re not a DVC member. They (like most time share resorts) have more of a kitchen, laundry and space than a hotel room, but they don’t get daily housekeeping services. There are lots of great DVC videos on KZbin. I’m just barely scratching the surface! They’re great rooms!

It was 2019-2021. It was a pretty simple garden view (greenery but nothing specific.)
