We're being asked to assume that your hypothetical students will understand 'Imagine' 'thunder' 'lighting' 'ectricity' and 'candle' but not the word 'match.' Why not just translate it? Or show them a box of matches? As for the concept-checking questions, shouldn't they have been banished to a particularly dark corner of hell by now? 'Is a match big?" Please...
