Hi just got a pair of 1460 serena fur lined. 5 was too big so went for the 4 but VERY tight across the arch where tongue ends. Ive managed to help this by taking out th3 fur insole and wondered if was bad for the shoe to do this? such a shame as fit perfect everywhere else! xx

For Docs or other stiff boots, try skipping the pair of eyelets at your ankle (for me it's the 5th pair up) and lace up loosely. It allows your foot to flex a little more during the break-in.
