I’m sure I can smell that bacon and onions cooking. Really enjoying your channel. I’m thinking that water bath canning is going to be my go to.

So I followed this video to do my beans. Never canned a single thing in my life. I remembered to debubble the first one but not the other 4. Now, my jars seemed to have sealed overnight, but the water level is lower and the very top of my beans are not covered. Will this be an issue? It has not yet been a full 24 hrs, so will it settle more in the next 10 hrs?

I should add, even the one I did debubble is doing this!

I have been learning how to grow from seed, but I have not started to build my garden. Because I do not have any property to build on. However, now I am more knowledgeable than I ever was about gardening. I am currently working on trying to get my own property! I suggest to not eat your tomatoes. Sometimes gardeners fail at growing their food. Because a learning curve was not experienced, or experienced enough to learn how to grow.

I love black eyed peas !!! Knock on wood i have not had bottom rot on tomatoes, but i have heard that is you pick them as there start to turn red, take them inside and turn them stem end down they will still ripen very nicely , dont know if that is true but maybe someone else know more on this.

My garden started out fantastic but then due to a few health reasons things just got lost in getting it done. Put up some green and yellow beans. Put up some potatoes and a few sweet potatoes. Beets are coming along better than any year that I planted them. The weather here in Pa has been unreal. Spring was too much rain when things got washed out 3 times. Then tornados rolling through. We almost never get those here. Now the 90 degree heat is here. Well we don't get too many days of them but not this year. Watering sometimes three times a day and I have a well. But getting some things. Thanks for garden tour. Take care.

I had about 10 lbs of sweet potatoes and thought about water bath canning them. Asked the Internet and you came up. Somehow I missed this last year. I canned potatoes from the recipe that Makeitmake did. And I also saw that you done this recipe also. I really didn't want to do the pressure canner method this year. Glad you made this video. Thanks.

Every time i have Pressure canned beans they tasted strong. And i 18:13 stopped caning for that and other reasons. I'm 78 and had water bath canner that was tall with two racks . Put water in the bottom, put the filled jars on the racks and let cook for about 3 hours. I plan to water bath this summers beans. Thanks for the info ❤
