She really did kiss him on the lips. That's wasn't a hallucination. I think most ppl attribute it to the kiss of betrayal from The Godfather, which is fine. But I think it also alludes to (extremely minor) romantic tension between Louie and Franklin. I know it's reaching, but it's been implied in varying degrees from time to time in earlier seasons, how they'd be on the same page more than anybody else, or sometimes just how he'd stand in close proximity to her and other subtle things. Or like how when she was with Claudia, Franklin imploring her to come back was almost like a lover in mourning. Again, I know it's a stretch, but she kissed him on the mouth at _her_ wedding right after he said he had feelings for her as a boy. That was just a weird flex that seemed to come out of nowhere, but as most other things in Snowfall there was probably a build up to it.

I really appreciate this video. Seen the movie countless times. But saw it again yesterday first time in 10+ years. Was a totally different movie. Such a strong message from a young bright director.
