No johns but it doesn't look like Jmook was ready for a samus AT ALL. 1:59 is a day1 edgeguard and he wouldn't have missed that if he knew that matchup (although tbf ive only seen g3 and dont know of any mixups). Despite this, BIG ups to morse cause this matchup is absolutely fucked on the samus side. He played tricky with bombs on shield, people tend to shield a lot against samus when they dont know the mu because her grab is trash. Good to see morse finally on the map samus mains rise up.

It's cool to see Samus still make waves even after Duck and Hugs have retired. Yes the character has its shortcomings, but that doesn't mean that Samus players can't win if they catch a top player lacking.

Now this is the Melee footage that I remember. Wild shit happening off the Officially Recorded Main Stage Sets, only one of three games captured by anybody, and that on a handheld phone camera.

Not a Jmook fan but Samus is SO boring to watch. Slow movement, minimal combo game, too floaty to combo, takes forever to be KOd, heavily dependent on projectile spam and defensive play. This entire game is just random stray hits over and over again.

People love to magically forget that Morsecode was/is super toxic in the p+ scene and frequently told people to k**l th*******s
