No johns but it doesn't look like Jmook was ready for a samus AT ALL. 1:59 is a day1 edgeguard and he wouldn't have missed that if he knew that matchup (although tbf ive only seen g3 and dont know of any mixups). Despite this, BIG ups to morse cause this matchup is absolutely fucked on the samus side. He played tricky with bombs on shield, people tend to shield a lot against samus when they dont know the mu because her grab is trash. Good to see morse finally on the map samus mains rise up.

Grapple stall. Snapping to the ledge with tether bypasses the game’s regrab timer (normally you have to wait until frame 30 after dropping for the lockout to end). It’s probably the best ledgestall in the game for edgeguarding

Not a Jmook fan but Samus is SO boring to watch. Slow movement, minimal combo game, too floaty to combo, takes forever to be KOd, heavily dependent on projectile spam and defensive play. This entire game is just random stray hits over and over again.
