Yes, and I would have but that piece they were splitting is as big as it got. The tree had been hit by lightning at least three times and was severely burnt, the remaining base was left crescent shaped with only the thickness in the video supporting the tree when it came down.

Which is why it surprised me that it took so long for someone to collect it. It was severely burnt from the known 3 lightning strikes, causing the base to be crescent shaped. I originally hoped to save a slice out of it to use as a desk base, but had no means to cut it, so decided to let someone to take it for the fee of cutting/removal. No takers so I ended up PAYING a nephew to cut remove the whole thing just to make it go away. He got all but this piece, but after two days he gave up on it. I just wanted it gone.

Good morning Kenny and Sompit. I've seen a few farmers sell off their top soil to make a few extra baht, maybe that's what they're doing? That was the reason our land was so low, they sold off the good top soil in previous years. Hope the stump is gone.

Hey Kenny I enjoy your videos and the life you have there in Paradise. I’m looking forward to my retirement next year and move to Chaiyaphum. Just wondering how your water filtration system is working. Are you getting any scaling or minerals from the water and how’s the hardness of the water. I’ll be building a house next year so I’m interested in what you think. 👍🏻👍🏻🇦🇺🇦🇺
@ParadiseNThailand
@ParadiseNThailand 6 күн бұрын
With the water softener I get zero hardness when testing and, as a result, minimal scaling so far. coincidently, I just added two bags of salt this morning to make sure I continue to maintain soft water. I would suggest a softener, but it really depends on the water in your area. Drill and test, then decide, would be my suggestion. I aways ran softeners in the US, so it was normal for me to install one, but now I will be buying salt the rest of my life!

You have to protect your boundry markers. They get moved and destroyed. We had the surveyor come and mark our land prior to construction and the rear boundry was encroached on by the neighbouring farmer by about 5 metres. The surveyor told us this was common in rural areas and gave us some tips on how to mark our boundry line.
@ParadiseNThailand
@ParadiseNThailand 6 күн бұрын
We have found all but one, and that one we know has already been jeopardized. The center marker for the road is on the far SIDE of the road, meaning half the road is in our property. Just yesterday I noticed that marker is now missing. We asked for a marker search two years ago but they didn't seem to care.
