I'm cautious listening to that comment 6:02 here that it's going to be super fun when it's dry out. No... Not necessarily a lot other than courage could be heightened just out of Common Sense.

Hi Mark, quick question mate. I noticed you have a tank lift. Was wondering if you noticed much fuel mileage changes? Been doing a big of research online and found out you lose quite a bit given the small peanut tank.

Gotta hug the tank with my knees to keep my right foot from blowing off the peg at faster speeds. Might try more aggressive boot treads.

Not a sportster
@Lance1311-Omegon2 ай бұрын
I agree they shouldn't have called it a sportster, as it's considered a midsize "sport" bike from Harley, but they also shouldn't have called the M8 softails, softails. I understand the dislike for it....but it's actually an incredibly performing bike. The aftermarket however, is almost non-existent.

They should have never called that bike a Sportster. A V Sport would be more reasonable

Bloody Horrible, that is not a Sportster, more like something from the Street family. If HD are struggling to get people to ride them, just imagine its re-sale value👎👎

Prefer my Yamaha drag star, that nightster looks plastic,better off buying a used sportster low model.

What if H-D borrowed Triumph's "modern classic" concept and made a retro-styled Rev Max engine, in various capacities, and put it in bikes that borrowed from the 1950s/60s K/KH/XL Sportsters? (I'll have one that looks like a KRM or an XLR, please 🙂) After all, the original Sportster was a response to the lighter, faster, better-handling British bikes of the postwar period.

Looks like you havw a lot of support on your view . Not me . I have owned 2 Sportsters in the past . I currently own a 2019 Softail Slim , 23.5 CVO Roadglide . I Enjoy riding my 23 Nightster Special more than any other Harley Davidson that l have ever owned or ridden . My Nightster special is yellow like you were riding. Two mistakes l made with it was fitting forward controls because l has made the rear brake useless. Fitting Mini apes made. It look better but make steering too light and harder to control . My only disappointment with the bike is the sound .

It’s so far removed from what makes me brand loyal to Harley - if I was after this kind of bike , I’d buy a Yamaha MT-09.
@bikerbeliever81693 ай бұрын
Your speaking my thoughts exactly, the motor and handling r so good!!! But the price and the cheap looking plastics, ruin what could truly be a special bike. Dynamically its really good and fun, but styling is a huge part of a motorcycle, especially one priced as high as these are. If they were priced way under $10k US then it might make more sense.
@simongilbert27043 ай бұрын
glad you looked after your career and family ;; but it's nice to see you back ,,, the nightster is better looking than the sportster s so 1/ out of 10 sporster s = 0 out of ten ;hardly anyone wants this trash , - so call it a day and stop trying to sell horrid items for 15 grand ;;; harley d ;;

For all the positives of the new (not) Sportster, all the negatives are just glaring. Which is odd, since the Buell Super Cruiser suffers from them also. Yet, I like that bike. Thanks for the upload and keep them coming.

I watch this video and I don't see how they can claim 90 hp. My 2000 Sportster is roidrage in comparison. And yes it's butt plug ugly.
