I"m in Montreal. The closest Ponderosa for us was Plattsburgh, NY. Always wanted to go back but there are none close buy. Still looks great though!!

It is great that you try to expose your kids to different foods and cultures. Granted, they did not try anything unique here, but they saw you guys and the example goes a long way. It's not a typical Southern thing to do. Good on ya.

I will have to give 5 HIGH Kudos to your presentation of this new restaurant!!! There have been several KZbinrs who have tried it, but it REALLY seemed like all of you actually ENJOYED what you ordered!! I do wish the kiddos would have tried just a little of the tacos, but if tacos aren’t their thing, that is ok too!! Unfortunately, I cannot have ANY spicy food BUT if I could, I would DEFINITELY go there and try those tacos. So I’m trying it through you!! Ha.I think this restaurant will become more popular as the year goes on. Maybe all of you could try something different next time you are there. Also, LOVED the live music!! What a cool experience!!! 💕💕💕

We absolutely loved it!!! We came for dinner the first night we got there. Best tacos we’ve ever had. Has a very younique twist to all their tacos. You can definitely tell they put a lot of thought into making these tacos. Love all the fresh ingredients. This was our favorite stop out of all the places we ate at during our trip. We will definitely be back to try all the other ones we didn’t get to try but we did try 5 of them. All of them stood out so it was definitely hard to decide which one was my favorite lol. And that queso was outstanding! One of the best queso’s ive tried.

I can't imagine what the pb and j cheeseburger tasts like. I would have never thought to put those flavors together. Jennifer was talking about the dip and mentioned some new type of dip that she likes to put cucumbers in. Does she have a recipe for that?

U need to go to Dixie in Newport. Avoid skyline, it's for beginners, at best and it's like the McDonalds of chili.

Thanks for the suggestion. We’ve been eating Cincy style chili for over 40 years so it’s definitely not new to us. We’ve been to Dixie Chili too - we enjoy their garlic addition but the flavor profiles in their sauce are not our favorite.
