My husband and I wanted to hike this in October, couldn’t find if there have been any deaths on the ladders lol we haven’t been able to make out how sketchy it is or not. For an athletic person would you say it is totally doable? Do you guys feel safe throughout the hike? I would really appreciate any feedback, your videos make it look breathtaking regardless

The most important thing to anticipate about this hike is: "FALSE SUMMITS!" Again and again, you'll top a(nother) rise, certain that THIS one must be "the top." And this will happen several times until you finally see ... "THE wooden sign." Just hang in there - it really IS up there!

Thank you for your video. Very nice and relaxed. In looking at your campsite, it was tight and I noticed the neighbors sewer was right next to the picnic table. Hope that wasn’t an issue for you guys! 😮 I had a vacation planned once and took my truck to dealership for routine maintenance before I left. They found major problems with electrical system. Kept it for a month waiting on parts. Fortunately I to was able to borrow dad’s truck for my trip!!

My husband and I traveled like you two do, with unique hiking and adventures! My fave spot was the Sequoia Forest, off the beaten path, that was 40 years ago and we were in the middle of nowhere and I don't know how we came out! lol It's definitely a place to put on your bucket list though! A STUNNING PLACE!

WE DON'T CAMP BUT ALWAYS RENT A CABIN ON THAT RIVER OR CLOSE BY AND KNOW WHERE YOU ARE AS WE TROUT FISH THERE ON THE OTHER SIDE AND RIDE BY. LOVE THE SHIRT BRANDON AND LOVE ALL FIREMEN AND POLICE AND EMTS AS MY FATHER WAS A FIREMAN FOR 28 YEARS IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY, NC. I HATE YOU HAD TROUBLE WITH YOUR TRUCK AND GLAD YOU GOT THERE SAFELY. Oh my goodness so crowded! We got phillys from there I think! We were in Gatlinburg from May 1-5th (Mon~thurs) and it was so chill. Still right many people, but a lot less. Crowds make me terrified because we have 1.5 and 4 year old boys who try to run off. 😅 Glad y’all still had fun!! ❤️

Yes it was so crowded we couldn’t find any parking so we drove back to the campsite and took the free shuttle! The phillys looked and smelled INCREDIBLE!! Jilly wanted to go back and get one and then get a cookie butter waffle at one of the free standing carts the next day but we decided not to go back into the crowds. We are looking forward to go back when it’s not so crowded 🙏🏼 thank you for the comment 😊

Yes!! In the fitness center there’s a sauna and a steam room. There’s also a cold and warm water immersion pool.

It was great!! Yes we did a little bit but we didn’t do an excursion like take a boat out. We just went to a beach and rented equipment! So fun. I’d like to go out on a boat next time to snorkel

Pools are 7-7 and the restaurants open around 6:30 for dinner until 9:30 I think.

Looks very nice is the resort more of a party resort or laid back I can’t really tell from the videos I have watched so far.

There’s 4 pools so depends on what you’re looking for. Two pools are more bar/party and two others are more serene and quiet. Bartenders and servers walk around to the quiet pools to serve you drinks so that’s where we’ve been.
