Thank for the ac relay tip. Previous owner of my acura told me ac didn't work. He said properly needed recharged. I schedule for recharged which estimated cost was $100+ dollar. I came this video and find out it was a $11.00 relay. Saved me a lot of money thanks.

Replacing the entire lower control arm is often more practical, you get a new ball joint as well, plus there's no hassle of removing / replacing the old bushings from the original arms.

Ignition coil fuel pump stuff like that 2019 Kia Sorrento has the same issue. Matter fact Kia would not honour the lifetime motor warranty because it was not on the bottom of the engine and the issue with the knock sensor. When I wasn’t even driving it my power steering module went out and so did my speed sensor in my transmission. There were so many issues we told them just to take it back and we got a 2024 Kia sport this is why I’m here watching this video to see what I’m up against.

You can reduce thermostat housing issues and radiator issues by using a common trick I read on a forum. Use a lower rated radiator cap. Get a 16lb radiator cap instead of the 20 the car comes with. To get the part ask for one for the previous generation, I just say 99 explorer. It's not much but it takes a lot of strain off the plastic cooling components. Haven't had a radiator get a leak since I did that and the thermostat housing leaks are minor giving you a warning. Thermostat housing is really 30 min or less, Dorman makes a metal housing. Other coolant areas to watch for are the heater valve and the plastic tee to the heater valve/core. Heater valves are cheap and easy to replace. The tee is harder to replace if you do it properly because you have to replace all the hoses attached to it at their source. If you don't do it properly, it's easy and more reliable. Get a 3/4 brass barbed tee and three hose clamps from a hardware store. Remove the crumbling plastic tee, cut the plastic crimps, yank it out and whatever is left crunch up with pliers in the hose and remove pieces. Insert the brass tee and use the hose clamps on it. Also I think its a Ford thing in general but a part of your PCM can fry. Area that powers the EGR, the four oxygen sensor heaters, and a purge valve fries and you get six codes pop up at once. Had that area of the PCM repaired, it's not too expensive. Takes about 15 minutes to get it out, shop I took the PCM to had it repaired in less than a day. I also changed the oxygen sensors since those might have put a strain on the PCM and you're supposed to do them at about 100k, mine had 130k and weren't as responsive at they should have been. Bosch makes the sensors for Ford so I got Bosch sensors at about $25 each from RockAuto, doing okay so far. My transmission went out super early at 80k but my local shop rebuilt it for half what the dealer quoted, in a third of the time and they said they used a kit with upgraded components to address the common failure points. I'm at 150k and the transmission shifts better than it did new.

Changed both axles at 85k because boots were torn changed starter at 110k because i thought it was bad but it was just a bad battery. Changed pads and rotors at 80k Now im gonna change spark plug at 121k Everything was still OEM. So its a great van overall.

THEY ARE TRYING TO SCARE YOU,,,,,, If you OVER CHARGE your system,, YOUR car will know it and NOT TURN ON COMPRESSOR.... It is at this point when you get someone with Gauges and they can let some Freon OUT and the Compressor will start working again,,,, YES,, letting out into the air is bad and you can take it to a service station and they can hook up a machine and capture it,,,

Phew.. you calmed me down a bit. I was worried I over charged mine. Mine works great, 40f inside cabin, 75f ambient. 33 psi low and 175 psi high side. I'm worried the high side is too much no? Reason why I added some was because my compressor was a little noisy so I wanted to top off. When I started, high side was 150. Now 175 and I couldn't get the low side to go up. But now the compressor is quiet. Let me know thanks.

This had no info on how to diagnose... it was intro'd that way but there was really no diagnostic info... For example, you can follow all parts of your steering and have someone in the car while it's parked and turned on, jiggle the wheel back and forth only as far as the "free play" goes. Watch the different components to see where the movement stops. For example, if someone jiggles it while you watch the rack and pinion, and the tie rods (long shafts that move left and right to push on the knuckle) don't move, then the issue is either there or upstream of that. If they do move, keep following the system down and see what doesn't move.

I have a 2019 Cherokee Limited and have had it since it was brand new. I also have a love, hate relationship with it. It has 85,000 miles on it and have had to issues with it. First issue was the oil cooler/oil filter housing. Apparently it has been a weak point on the V6 for years. Since the housing is mostly plastic and is subjected to a lot of heat being its buried in the center of the motor. They part usually cracks or warps. My unit was fine, but there are several ports on the bottom of the part where it mounts. They use black o rings to mate the part to the engine and those 5 cent o rings failed, they were flattened. So had the oil leak which fills the center valley of the V6. Since the unit has to be removed to repair the issue, I replaced the unit with a new one. Cost of the repair was about $1100.00. My second issue was the failure of the PTU unit at 59850 miles, lucky it happened with in the 60.000 mile warranty. I do not do any off road driving, only street use and the occasional snow storm. Dealer stated it was a weak part on the Cherokee and they replace them often. If it occurred after the warranty expired dealer stated it would have cost approximately $2500.00. I do love the Cherokee. It gives you a great ride, comfortable interior, it is a good overall vehicle. Just do not think I should have had those failures based on my vehicles mileage.

@Stian2001
@Stian2001 11 күн бұрын
The flush thing is just stupid. Change the fluid and filter. Drive around town. Drop the oil again and fill up. If you want it 99% perfect. Drop the fluid again and fill up. Btw most transmission problems comes from low fluid or a clogged trans filter The key to a succsessful trans job is to have the filter changed and enough fluid in the trans. Your trans is like an engine. It uses oil. Allways fill more then you dropped and always fill the trans when hot and not cold. Cold fill will give you the wrong result. Drive around and fill up drive around and fill up
