This material seems like a perfect fit for interest in the area of use. What do you know about how the bark ages over time? Brittle? I would expect Carolina wrens over time. But they are really cool and the only bird I know that eats stink bugs.

Try wet finger tooling the corners first, then spatula as you showed if you prefer a slightly smoother rounded corner rather than the sharp edges.

My family of 4 eats 2 deer a year. Approximately 100lbs of meat. I may harvest 3 this year. It helps alot feeding 2 teenage boys. Ive always wondered about getting my hide back. I may try it one year when i have the time

I'm all for this video. I don't hunt but still found it interesting. I also don't see why this would be offensive. If you don't like the content why not just move on.
@thehomesteadcraftsman8975Ай бұрын
I can see which someone could think it is off putting in terms of thinking it’s nasty perhaps but i too don’t see the offense. I think people’s awareness of the past is very short and it’s surprising how detached people are from products they enjoy. They are ok eating a hamburger as long as someone else does the dirty work. It’s one of the reasons i do a lot of the things i do. Basically because i don’t want to not do it more than i want to do it….. if that makes sense.
@samq2635Ай бұрын
Did you say, how long did they take start to finish?
@thehomesteadcraftsman8975Ай бұрын
I do the process over the coarse of about 4 days to a week. Not sure got many hours of active work, the process requires some waiting as well, salting for a day, drying, pickle for 48 hours, letting the tan sit and then slowly drying while you stretch and break the hide. We live easy lives.
