I remember seeing this live when I was in College. Back then, the costumes left the dancers abdomens and legs uncovered. It allowed us to see what strength it takes do this, which is incredible. These dancers make it seem effortless, explosive and beautiful all at the same time.

I remember seeing this performed by Carl Plaisted in Sydney Dance Company back the mid 90's.... I was blown away by this piece.... the pure strength of the dancer. I had to review this piece for a Uni assessment. I also brought the Massive Attack album "Blue Lines" just for this song... absolutely loved it and listening to this song reminds me of that amazing performance I witnessed. I wish Sydney Dance Company had filmed that season of Short Works... which also included Paul Mercurio's solo piece of "Dancing With The Clown"... oh how I wish I could see those performances again.

Wish the person making the video just kept the whole stage in view all of the time. The routine is meant to be somewhat of a visual overload along with the amazing and interesting dancing.going on from multiple performers.

What I like about Momix is the sense of play mixed with sensuality that is part of almost every piece. I kept going back to the playground that had a merry-go-round where everyone in my class would get it spinning the n jump on the seats or grab onto the spokes like these dancers and float. Although Momix is a lot more sensual and we were a little more play.
