When I hear his live piano sound, it still sounds like an old Kurzweil Micro Piano, nothing like a great VST piano

I’m in an 1000 sqft house the attic is unusable I wonder how much it would cost to fill with a pipe organ i wouldn’t want a pipe lower than the note e0 which my guitar octave pedal can go down lower if tuned below standard I’d also want 88 keys since I already have an organ style keyboard being the typical 61

There is one thing said here that contradicts what someone else has told me this can do. The presenter here says that using the split function you can only have two sounds, the bottom sound and the top sound. A person that owns one told me that you can additionally layer the top of the split TOO. for example Bass on the left, Piano AND Strings on the right. I've bought one and it's on it's way, I guess I'll find out one way or another.

He made a comment about playing electric keys and how he damaged this rhythm and bass thumb and how on the higher scale of the melody he can’t hear the music . Even today it’s better but not much.

Boy they talk about George Shearing being a good pianist and he was but Joe Sample was at the top of his field musically and probably the best ever . I certainly tried to copy him and my sister was a much better player than me but she hasn’t touched a key in 30 years.

John, you got a good technique, but that's what it is, what I want to hear and see you. Put swagger and slang on every note you play. Just don't play the piano, tell a story.

You can find that sound on Korg keyboards ready with the exact same effects. For example, for Korg Krome, it's the "Rock Lead" IIRC. So it's not a custom sound 😄

Don Freeman here. Spent a lot of time in the that studio working with Jeffrey Osborne and George as producer. I played keyboards and co-wrote “ Don’t You Get So Mad” with Jeffrey and Michael Sembello who played guitar on that track. We cut the basic tracks at The Complex in Culve😅City which was owned by Maurice White And George Massenberg. The next record I did with Jeff and George we cut basic tracks at Lion Share and did overdubs at George’s studio.
