The iPhone 6s is just incredible. Had one of these recently for a backup phone and it runs so well considering it turns 10 years old next year. The A9 Chip was incredibly strong back then and is still holding up pretty well. And it is even up to date in terms of security patches with ios 15.8

@frodfrdk U missread the label. the 2 Ramsticks which where in the laptop they where both 4GB each. u misread the label they are 2x 4GB with a total of being 8GB together

on the 2010s model the dGPUS dont cook them self. the gpus are fine the issue is a small tantalum capacitor who sits on the powerline of the gpu. its a quite simplle fix u just need to replace the smd cap

i still use an mp3 player (hifi walker with rockbox) for my regular music needs, having a specific thing for music has saved my phone lots of battery & feeling for physical buttons while driving or cooking or taking a walk instead of having to stop and look at my phone has been better for my anxiety & safety. conceptually this would be such a cool idea, i'd love an interface like this that works with multiple streaming platforms & other inputs like mp3 players. i hope the people working on mods can keep this thing alive and open it up for everyone to play with.
