You never heard of Ken Parker guitars 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😮😮😮😮😮😮
@kenbauer77762 ай бұрын
Yes of course, and many other people have introduced carbon fiber to stringed instruments. What Parker did was somewhat extreme in my opinion and required a whole new manufacturing method. My idea is to retain the look and feel and format of a traditional wood guitar, but just add the carbon inside in a special way to make it more stable and light.

When I play guitar. I like to have a space between the neck and the neck pickup because that’s where I do most of my picking. If I had you build me one of your guitar’s, how much would it cost?
@kenbauer77762 ай бұрын
I also like to leave lots of room for picking which is why I'm using two narrow rail pickups. I'm not yet in the business of making guitars, this is just the first one built for testing and just trying to see if there is any interest out there. If there is interest I might find a factory to partner with and build it.

I’m curious about your active electronics and the statement about the batteries lasting years. I took electronics in school in 1984 so all the op amps and such were 9-18v. The computer stuff was going down from 5v to like 1v and CMOS. Are you intending on mass producing? I like the clean, gain, overdrive, clipping all in the guitar. Nice job but I know it’s recorded and using am amp modeler. I would love to play it. My current project is attenuating my homemade tube amp for recording. I know your guitar was fun to build. I’ve made my own Stratocaster. Again, nice job!
@kenbauer77762 ай бұрын
Thanks for your interest, I'm not divulging any details of the electronics right now, just in case there might be an opportunity to market this. No plans yet, I'm just having fun. But I'm a career electronics engineer, even worked for Apple, and the chips available today are amazing. Turns out it doesn't take many electrons to process guitar tones.

Impressive video, Ken Bauer (Piano Guy). Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your concept of invisible electronics is groundbreaking-how do you anticipate this innovation will influence the future designs of electric guitars in terms of player feedback and performance?
@kenbauer77762 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comments, and thanks for recognizing the idea of invisible electronics. It remains to be seen if this is something that guitar players will want or not. But that's why I started with this video- try to find the level of interest and whether this is something that could be brought to market.

Hi I am Ron and I decided to reinvent the wheel and make it a lot rounder so it has 0 friction and rolls with inertia and is also perpetual. My next idea is to make fire that has 0 heat. I also have windshield wiper blade sharpeners and styrofoam gas cans that are very light weight for sale. I also have ideas for curved riflies to shoot around corners without being seen. Anyone need a wood burning air conditioner? I call it a heat pump!!!😁

@@kenbauer7776 Actually I have been playing for over 45 yrs and really like the old vintage guitars. I have many of them. Play in 2 quartets and don't understand the need for new guitars when the old ones are more than adequate. There are too many brands as it is. In my early days we didn't have all these options and I believe we don't need anymore today! Sorry if I offended you. Dang! Chill!
@Hiro.the.God.2 ай бұрын
@@ronaldgoebel2174 sounds like you need some Xanax. If anyone should chill it’s you. Guitar players have it WAY better now than they did when you started. Many options at affordable prices. Maybe you think we should still ride horses, what do we need new cars for?
@Dan-Einar2 ай бұрын
@@ronaldgoebel2174 I walked barefoot in the snow, but I don't have to anymore. While I sympathize with your preference for a simpler approach (purism), this guitar demonstrates some new technology that seems to be as innovative as the array of signal-processing technologies that appeared in the 60s--fuzz-tone, echoplex, etc. But if you prefer an acoustic guitar or a Gibson hollow-body going into a single-channel amplifier with no effects, then I guess this isn't for you.
@kenbauer77762 ай бұрын
@@ronaldgoebel2174 No problem, thanks for sharing. Vintage guitars are great, I don't want to take anything away from them. People will enjoy the old standard guitars forever. I just thought it would be fun to see what can be done with today's tech. Carbon has been used in necks here and there but I believe I've done it in a new way while still retaining most of the look and feel of the wood neck. I believe some people might be happy with a neck that never moves.
