@AveryClement I've had to kind of end my playing with it for the season; if you're bone stock that's not too far off as you're gonna hit speed limiter before a rev limiter. Early next year I'm going to try and get a cam, springs, valves and retains and a few other small mods along side a tune. I really think an impeller is hold this back while stock.

@badm0t0rf1ng3r yeah mines in the garage right now. Everything will be done next spring I'm aiming for high 80's out of it

@AveryClement I'm talking with Ernesto Calas about it right now. Hopefully 85 to 89 is doable. I know with an upgraded wheel 93ish on the dash is what they showed.
@AveryClement21 күн бұрын
@badm0t0rf1ng3r cam is safe to run for sure, but I honestly won't touch a wheel myself until I see more testing. I know it can put out the numbers, but I've also seen people have their entire charger fail because of the wheel. The reliability is what concerns me the most. Also running over 9000rpms is a lot of strain on the engine. I'd like to know what the stock springs and retainers can handle on the 325. I know on the 300 anything over 8500, you should have springs, and im running 8400 on mine. Eventually I might do a charger once riva releases theirs just because I want to see all the testing behind it.
@badm0t0rf1ng3r20 күн бұрын
@AveryClement i spoked with Calas this morning and I'm trying to build a reliable high 80s ski, and if we have to swap out the charger then I'm willing to do it! I have the same concerns, that's why I'd like to have it stay around 8600 max rp.

You do not have to use rubber so they do not slide. You thin down the flat clamping surface on the one side, this allows the the pieces to pinch tighter. Just sand it down on a piece of sand paper on a very flat surface, no tape or rubber needed.

@@badm0t0rf1ng3r Yeah I would never drill holes either, sanding off some of the flat mating surface on the clamp is so easy. It is way better than using some tape or rubber. You also must cut or grind the locating pin off the one 1/2 of the clamp on the one side, otherwise it will crack the plastic if you try to tighten the 4 screws down.

Correct “Aluminum doesn’t rust” but if you’re wheeling on rocks, aluminum won’t protect your truck. Steel plates protect, just take em off occasionally and paint them up accordingly.
@badm0t0rf1ng3r2 ай бұрын
I dont disagree, however the anticorrosive properties and weight savings of aluminum would probably have been just fine for my application; aluminum is still and upgrade over the original plastic. Like the other person said. You gotta go faster and once you turn you can feel the nice start to dig when you turn the bars lean fowards left foot fowards and turn left right foot fowards going right and squat down and lean with the ski you don’t gotta lean wheee you are dragging your but unless you are going very fast but it’s easier to squat with the turns and lean fowards. If you feel like you going to fall over just give it more gas and start to lean the other way and straighten out the bars. But more speed is so much easier to turn the skis. We have both the superjet tr1 and a sxr1500 and I’m 5”2 and hold that sxr wide open. That’s with stock plate and sponsons. But then again I race stand ups. The newer 4strokes are way easier to ride then my other round nose SuperJet. It’s so narrow but it’s a race ski so it’s very stable and easy to ride also if you know how to ride a ski

Cool vid. I'm learning too. My advise is go faster, elbows out and get low. The faster you go the easier it is to lean into the turns. Try pressing down with your outside foot too when turning. Also, try stepping back with your front when switching feet. That way you don't have to worry about stepping off the back of the ski when switching feet.

The jet trim matt will not be revolutionary but it will help. you need to bend you knees some more and practice will be your friend. I did not like the WCOT plate, I went with a Jet Dynamics and love it, it controls the nose of the boat so much better. Better and cheaper shoes are wrestling shoes. Amazon has a few good brands that hold up well for under $50.
@badm0t0rf1ng3r2 ай бұрын
Thank you sir! I think I want the kickers more than I want the mat; I like having a bit better idea of how close my rear foot is to the back of the tray, especially with boots on. I took the ski back out with the WCOT ride plate on in some choppier water and it was really fantastic. I just don't think I'm good enough right now to appreciate how it changes the ski. I did throw on 4 degree bars and that makes in monumentally easier to bend my knees and get the bar lower for turns. You're not the first person to mention wrestling shoes.... ill definitely take a look! Thanks for the comment !

@@badm0t0rf1ng3r I will say sorry to Chris but the PWC plate was garbage, that is the first one I bought and it fit so poorly I never even tried to use it. Right now my machine has a WCOT intake grate, the PWC sponsons, the Jet dynamics plate, Get trim mat with a straight small kicker, 0 degree straight bars. I want to do a RRP pole next. I t has been a fun thing learning stand up after all these years. Look at the TBM parts, Tims stuff is some of the nicest stuff out there build quality wise.
@badm0t0rf1ng3r2 ай бұрын
@@R1Kyle I have mostly the same setup. I just wish jettrim was a bit more clear about the options they have available. Their customer support is hit and miss, not bad, just not as helpful as they could be when explaining some of the options. I have heard some people did not like the PWC plate, thats why I ended up skipping it. TBM ride plate was on my radar too, but when you count about a 150 dollar discount the WCOT grate was an easy choice for that flattened M style ride plate. I got 4 degree bars and that really changed everything... pulled me up onto the tray, made the steering feel make so much more sense and easy to pull against the bars for speed. Being pulled forward too makes lowering the handle pole for turns easier as well. Its been really fun learning the ski and getting more and more used to it. I enjoy riding the couches, they have their place, but stand ups are a workout and a learning experience every time you ride them!

Hey, the new GTX 325 looks like a helluva ski! And the color this year is fantastic! One of the few I'm absolutely ecstatic with for the 2025 lineup. I mean I bought this ski because I was so disappointed with the RXPX and RXTX color schemes for 2025. Plus that screen on the GTX limit is absolutely mint! I added the catch can because that should always been your first mod for a supercharger Seadoo, as they recirculate the oil back into the system normally. I dont want that stuff gunking up my ski! They are notorious for blow by! I swapped out the blowoff valve because I feel like the stock one is woefully inadequate for the ski. It was puny and kind of cheap feeling plastic. I want high quality stuff on my ski. I went with the fizzle intercooler tubing and the the turbo smart blowoff valve.
