Hitting 76 MPH on a 2021 SEADOO RXTX with a RIVA SCOM

In this short video I do a couple passes on my, now completely broken in, RXTX 300 and show you what this can do, completely stock and scom installed. There is no tune, no performance mods, intake, any of that this. This is just the stock ski that has the speed limited removed!
I stress "on the dash" because the SeaDoo speedo GPS is known to be a bit generous with speed on the dash. The difference can be as much as 3 MPH. That is why some claim to still see 70 or 71 without a SCOM.

I have this exact same european model -21 RXTX and after 5 hours max speed has been 74,6 mph (because I have km/h display on - so 120 km/h). No mods made for the engine yet :)

I wanna do the same to mine. Does the SCOM void the warranty? I'm new to the Sea Doo life. I purchased 2 of them.

I used a head mount on this one. It's hard to get the angle perfect, however I have tried using a mouth mount (you literally bite into it) and have had decent results.

@@its_ohhrite if you're going for a video where you can have the dash in view for a short speed run, the bite mount is better. Head mount is better for longer runs.

I have a 2022 triple black RXT has 5 hrs and a couple minutes and this thing gets to 70 on pretty calm water with scom and only 7600 rpm it does start in sport mode idk what the hell the deal is but I'm so upset all that time breaking it in and try to get 74-76 mph and got to 70 on glass water and that was taking time to get there

Dude thats an absolute bummer. Id be more worried about the topping out at 7600 RPM than the exact speed. I usually see it go up to 8200 or so before it will kick back down. I know the speed didnt really open up until a few hours.... maybe 6 or 7. Consider doing an oil change at 10 hours too. I wont tell you what to use but I used Rotella T6.

@@badm0t0rf1ng3r bummer for sure and yeah I just hit 11 hrs and a few minutes and still hits 7500 a glimpse of 7600 so disappointed I think maybe boost leak or supercharger issues I have no clue the guy at dealer said at 10 hrs ecu will open up to 8k rpm and nothing so pissed

@@brucemuniz2100 I'd definitely take off your back panel and check all the hoses and everything. Could be a beast leak, I know in one of the JP racing videos he points out a few hoses that sometimes come loose from the factory.

@@brucemuniz2100 I forget which one... he has so many these days. If I remember correctly its on the back, righthand side of the engine. I check my hoses every few months. I gotta believe you might have a hose loose.

It will ping around 8200 before the limiter pulls it back to 8k.
