Even now, this piece of music is still haunting and powerful at the same time, honestly Murray Gold and Ben Foster were just amazing and so too was the Orchestra!!

'Doomsday' is to Murray Gold what 'The Ecstacy Of Gold' is to Ennio Morricone or 'The Imperial March' is to John Williams

You don't get music in the show like this anymore. Beautiful and find myself listening to it routinely.

Is it me, or is this piece a bit reminiscent of Morricone's The Ecstasy of Gold from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly? Both incredible.

Never fails to make me cry, it's such a banger. I remember when i had the 50th anniversary murray gold CD box set and this song would come on. It jad been years since I've seen Doomsday at that point so i couldn't remember where in Dr Who it came from but I always had a sense of longing and sadness whenever i heard it. In my recent revisit to rewatch every episode of New Who leading up to the 60th anniversary. As soon as i heard the first notes, I finally remembered where the song came from. And boy did the tears come strolling down my face.

Hot take for some people Rose Tyler is the best doctor who companion and I also think she should've had a third season.

This version is even more spine-tingling than the one in the show. Chills. Murray Gold is a genius and the woman singing is incredible. Very talented. Such a shame Murray left and the show was ruined. This show had endless potential, and its heartbreaking it was never used after Matt left. This was a massive part of my upbringing, and who we're seeing now in the new show isn't the doctor.

Watching in 2020. Remember watching in 2009! Still watch Dr who today. Tennant still retains the crown of being the "best", this song and the emotion behind it proves it. I may be wrong but no other doctor since has had this level of emotion with a musical score.

Okay, I'm going to be honest. While this music is beautifully emotion, with the fan attitude and obsession with Rose Tyler, I really couldn't care more about her. Don't get me wrong. Billie Piper's performance is always a joy to watch, but whether or not she gets the satisfaction of spending time with the Doctor or not aren't stakes I'm invested in. At least MrTardisReviews understands me.
