Never fails to make me cry, it's such a banger. I remember when i had the 50th anniversary murray gold CD box set and this song would come on. It jad been years since I've seen Doomsday at that point so i couldn't remember where in Dr Who it came from but I always had a sense of longing and sadness whenever i heard it. In my recent revisit to rewatch every episode of New Who leading up to the 60th anniversary. As soon as i heard the first notes, I finally remembered where the song came from. And boy did the tears come strolling down my face.

This still sends shivers down my spine when I hear it. I watched Doomsday over Christmas and it had me properly crying. Beautiful piece of music written by Murray Gold and it's a real shame he has now moved on from Doctor Who for when Chris Chibnall takes over. I think Jodie Whittaker would have been fun to write for.
