Never fails to make me cry, it's such a banger. I remember when i had the 50th anniversary murray gold CD box set and this song would come on. It jad been years since I've seen Doomsday at that point so i couldn't remember where in Dr Who it came from but I always had a sense of longing and sadness whenever i heard it. In my recent revisit to rewatch every episode of New Who leading up to the 60th anniversary. As soon as i heard the first notes, I finally remembered where the song came from. And boy did the tears come strolling down my face.

PEOPLE. Stop arguing about the companions! There is no best companion, or best doctor. NO BEST. They are all amazing. They have to be amazing, or the Doctor wouldn't have picked them up. We should all respect the Doctor's judgement. He never favours one over the other. He remembers ALL of them fondly. This still sends shivers down my spine when I hear it. I watched Doomsday over Christmas and it had me properly crying. Beautiful piece of music written by Murray Gold and it's a real shame he has now moved on from Doctor Who for when Chris Chibnall takes over. Oh gawd...tears and snot everywhere...THE FEELS! It's amzing how this very melodic yet haunting tune will make whovians experience a whirlwind of emotions! I've come to like Rose's character a bit more after watching season 2...but still not my favorite companion. My heart breaks for the Doctor and Rose being stuck in parallel worlds never being able to see each other again. It's even more brilliantly epic live!
