RSP from Maryland said the same thing, imagine W or L in a race on the street vs at the track. Who is going to remember the track race ? Vs at the street it immediately get re-posted across the world 🌎

If for some reason, they don’t make it anymore, which blows my mind they think remodeling something that was perfect. Perfection is somehow better.

No those engines will not live “forever” like that. No engnine under that much boost last a super long time. That’s the nature of racing

Let me get this streight, and Iron block is more resilient than an aluminum block? Can't be.......sometimes 80lbs makes a big difference. They also have the best heads GM has ever made, He might not like the aluminum blocks, but road racers may like the weight loss more than the extra HP over 1200

Funny thing is Chevy holds the n/a stock bottom 1/4 mile record over any other domestic platform. Matter of fact GPI went 8.5 n/a 1/4 mile with a stock bottom end ls3 in an original 5th gen Camaro. Chevy also holds the n/a 1/4 mile record for built bottom end also. Sam racing went 8.1 n/a weighing 3,100 pounds and with stock suspension. I know I like to bring up pure evil mustang but that is a 2500 lbs stroked motor coyote shop built swapped into a foxbody chassis on 17:1 compression on C16 fuel and could only run 8.47. So weighing an insane amount less than Chevy with a built engine and ran almost the same time but can’t beat Sam racing while Sam weighs more!
As my mate used to say you only need two gears fast and faster.
@OxBlitzkriegxO19 сағат бұрын
Light cars don't need tons of gearing. glides make sense for really light cars. Alternatively, you use a lockup converter on a glide and effectively get a three speed, but direct drive and lock up are much closer together

So far ahead , so advanced, so expensive, so hard to fix , so advanced they can't hold as much boost, parts cost way way more . Those are not necessarily good things bud. Dont see Ferrari borrowing ford suspension technology

I love the Hellcat and GTR battle talk. Bottom line the hellcat platform mops the floor with the GTR stock for stock under full warranty in a straight line. GTR is track based Hellcat platforms are straight line based. Anyone that knows what they are doing can build a car to beat another car in the race areas it is designed for. I would imagine a heavy Hellcat can do pretty well on a roll to be impressive if its built to the limits of possibly breaking during that one roll race hit like they are saying the GTR will be from the dig 🤷♂️
