First it takes the right personality, right interviewer that does more listening than talking and someone who absolutely really loves the work they do. It's not all about the dumb call outs, grudge racing with it's social media influence and over dramatization

@@gohardpodcast i liked the idea of the aftermarket( yes im using BMW/ram-diesel types/size pencil/thin+long injectors as it clear's my ~1970~/alcoa-casting's twin-plug valve-covers better but possible way for 3d-gen is running under the covers like how 1st gen-hemi's look'd/wire-covers work'd ) Di and 3G-Pollyhemi( currently working on a modification D8/recast'd DI/EFI + VVT/LSA roller-camshaft( GM phaser assembly ) 540~ci 4.3X4.5in stroker and tr6060-platform 60's-charger )/dodge's and yes if holly/other's starts allowing aftermarket-tuning it would make it way easier and it's possible to use a C3-pump/something like it that's belt driven my-540 is cam/dizzy-replacement "winks" if they start casting their own or offer engine-milling might not be hard and or mildly profitable as a service or as a kit-package it's the pump/tank/tuning/ECU that's a pain to add without someone helping or at least my experience but still doable if determined and or my millwright/race-car background/career

This is a great deep dive into his facility, processes for product development, and much more. Brian was in the Navy, and a lot of his thought processes came from his experience gained there. The timing an engine wants is mainly dependent on chamber design. Look at a Gen V chamber and tell me what you see different than a LS3 chamber. Keep this in mind, the "faster" the chamber the less timing the engine wants. The "slower" the chamber the more timing the engine wants and the more dull to change. This is why we "soften" the chamber in a series power adder combination.
