I purchased one from Amazon and returned it within 2 weeks. 3 issues I found. 1st: Colors were muted and super flat color profile. You could have the camera set with a Rec. 709 color profile and it would come out looking like log. 2nd: the T bar glitch when going between transitions. 3rd: camera buttons would stick down. Summery: not worth the money. I really wanted to like it but I ended up getting a Atem mini pro and like it so far.

Where does PTZ control come in? Is the communication done via the HDMI of cameras?

Impossible due to zoom limits. Not all churches can put a camera in front of everyone. That is disturbing. I'm churches we need huge zoom.

Exactly. It's main use in a large auditorium is for creative shots, like in a drum cage or next to a musician or something. THe bigger optical zooms are needed for normal PTZ work.

I believe so. It takes the VISCA protocol too so joystick controllers can do it as well.

I’m trying to find but there is no much videos about using animated plugins or video ads in your stream. I need a solution not just to stream multiple cameras but I want to have my own graphics available, I want to play video ads during live stream, and still have no idea which switcher will let me do this. Does Blackmagic devices downstream video quality? If I want to record in each camera in 4k quality, will atem mini be able to downstream that signal to HD and stream? Thanks and regards.

If you're playing the oringial performance, then yes you need a license or written permission because KZbin will either claim it or strike it, depending on the publisher.

Yes, it does. Range: 0~300ms, increase or reduce by 10ms steps.

That's an interesting take, I hadn't thought about it. I think they put "cut" in line with the "live" buttons because that's more of a "take this direct" kind of transition. I found myself using the t-bar because it was there, even though I'm mostly used to the ATEM auto button. I always had to search for the "auto" or "cut" button on the Edge, so I would just grab the t-bar and move it.

Note, too, that the ownership of the copyright may be held by a corporation, not by the original author. The license is a means of paying the copyright owner for the permitted use of the material; including a license identifier (e.g. a CCLI client number) is a simple way to help the copyright owner confirm that you have paid for permission to use their property.

Great video. Hey I was wondering can I use OBS to just capture my church service because at our church it’s easier for us to record and then upload to KZbin. The way we used to do it was we take the sound from the mixing board on the headphone Jack and plug it on the camera but for some reason it doesn’t sound exactly like the speakers sound in person I tried an audio interface from the speakers input it still doesn’t sound good at all.

Someone has told me that if you have bought the track or the music on a CD, etc., it gives you the right to use that music as your accompaniment. And if that performance is streamed live on Facebook, it is still not a copyright issue. I can't see how this could possibly be true.

Yeah, that's not accurate. According to law, you can't even play it in front of a live audience without permission/license. Again, I don't see a Christian artist suing like a secular artist might, but we're just being technical. That's why artists keep having to send a cease and desist letter to political parties who use their songs at events. :D

If you want to perform music that is covered by the CCLI license, can you use a track as the backup music instead of instruments played by church musicals. For example, can a quartet or a choir "sing along" with a track that has the music and even singing on it?

H ithere! So, it depends on what you mean by "track." If you're playing the song from an artist from their album, most likely you'll get a copyright claim for that - in some cases a strike is possible. Publicly playing and streaming the song straight from the artist is almost never covered without a special license. However, if you mean a track like from Multitracks.com or LoopCommunity, that is fine and covered under the CCLI performance license. However, you still might get a claim because the AI isn't perfect. In many cases, sharing the CCLI license information in an appeal will fix it if you want to go through the trouble. Note: claims aren't bad and aren't looked at as negative for your channel. A strike is.

We are currently using Propresenter 6 on a Mac mini computer that comes out of one of the Lightning ports and is then converted via turnaround to VGA for the onstage projectors and monitors. I would like to run an HDMI line to our Atem mini that we use only for our livestream. I had thought that I could just put an HDMI splitter in between an Lighting to HDMI adapter and an HDMI to VGA turnaround after the splitter and the use the other side of the splitter for the Atem, that did not work. Then I bought a Lighting to HDMI adapter hoping I could use the other Lightning port to send video, that hasn’t worked. Even when I unplug the projectors and use that port, I still do not get any video to the Atem. I’m obviously missing something I would appreciate any help.

How do you change the title of each stream before going live on KZbin with this system ? Do you need to copy a separate link into the software for each individual live stream ? If you pre schedule all of your KZbin videos can you just go live at the right time on the camera and have it pick up that scheduled livestream?

You can pre-schedule, but each one will have a unique stream key. So you will have to copy/paste it into the ATEM each time. An alternative would be something like Restream.io which handles the publishing through an API connection. Then you just login before your next stream and tell Restream what the title will be (or connect it to the next rescheduled event), then you don't have to change stream keys in the ATEM. Hope that helps.

Ptz optics is easy to use, and the team behind helping set it up was awesome. They were very helpful and very patient with us as we navigated through the process of setting up. We love the images we get and it is easy to stream.

This video was excellent at explaining the ccli license. While it was a bit long- winded I couldn’t fast forward through it cuz as soon as I click jump ahead you said something relevant. So just for clarity, display song details for each song (or put in description) abs the ccli number is our own church license number. By the way there is ccli in Canada too. Not only USA.

There are proportional grade brands that are likely better. So I doubt they are the gold standard. I'm thinking Panasonic or Canon.

@@glynnetolar4423 Canon's are good, we sell them as well - just more (2-3X) expensive for a marginal gain in quality. The only time I run into Panasonics in the wild are the very expensive variety, which is apples and oranges. From our experience of selling and servicing hundreds of cameras for hundreds of customers, in their price bracket, they are the gold standard for us in many ways.

KZbin's copyright strike system is completely messed up. We get strikes all the time for old hymns that are in public domain. I used to contest the strikes, but gave up.

Hi! im in a scenario where we want to live switch 3 cameras and stream that to social media channels but we also need the ability to go back in after the show and retweek angle switches in post to cut separate videos for social. Is that possible? What atem setup will i need?

Yes, you can do that with the ATEM Extreme ISO or the ATEM Mini Pro ISO. ISO stands for isolated, basically means it will record each channel individually at the same time. The ATEM also makes a Divinci file for the multicam edit that you made live, and you can easily load that up and edit the camera switches, etc.

Thx for the "water pump analogy"!) But the better way, when you think from the end to the begginning. This mean that you set the output of the final "pump" (which you will be use for control) to max. It's more manageable.

Every time I activate automatic tracking the camera changes to the home position. I would like to be able to activate automatic tracking in a position different from the camera's home position. Can this be done?
