The thing I kove most about your videos is the subtle passive agression which exists in every relationship. I can tell you're in love because you're mean to each other sometimes. It fills my heart with joy.

my god, the deeper you'll go into their catalogue, the more beautiful the songs will be... some gems: "Hallelluia" (live 2016), "Was Ich Liebe", "Weit Weg", "Donaukinder", "Liebe is fur alle da", "Feuer und Wasser", "Wo bist du", "Morgenstern", "Nebel", and so many more...

the effect on maynards voice is a "flanger" . it used to be achieved by playing two tapes at the same time and pressing on the flange of one so it fell slightly out of time with the other, making this washy sound. these days its easily done with delay but the effect name remains.

As a kid in my early 20s when this album came out, I discovered that tempo of this song is perfect for Rein Raus-ing, though it was about 2 minutes longer than necessary. 😅

This album took a bit to grow on me the way their last one did because it's definitely a different feel, but the more I listen to this album, the more I dig it. Carnosus is always going to be heavy on both melody and groove, but their last album is definitely more melodic death prog and this album is heavier on groove. It's actually short and sweet too which I'm always a fan of. This band has no weak links, and the songs are always bass-y, but this album is SUPER bass-y. Jon is so dialed into the instruments too; he gives everything from throat singing to At The Gates style vocals. Love these guys and really hope they'll come to the US at some point. These guys all rip at what they do.

When this originally came out, it was basically a horror dvd that was rated R.. So I'm sure the VHS would of had the typical "Violence/sex" warnings. But this was early 2000s haha you also knew what you were getting into.

PS here's the lyrics to track 2, it's the only one I've got done so far lol ANAEROBIC We are so tired of dying just to live. Self-administered hope will strip this life of reason. As always, the odds are that they'll never be even. A fatal blow has been struck to the throat of the host. Destiny, intrinsic; and all this world entails. Variations in luck; quantum chance, happenstance. Against this constant cynic; ambassador of the scales. This world is choking out the life from within our lungs. We exist in suspended agony, an anaerobic descent into this ocean of doubt. It was not our intent to spill our freight to the seas; to live within, without the strength to rise from our knees. Falling back on the weight of our fate, embracing infinite void. Fall back, fall back. Fading out all these hues and colors; prismatic, bottomless hole. Fall back; fall back. Existence is biting down on every point and every vertex... and then only darkness, until a phoenix arises to reveal the codex. Infinitesimal filth, clinging desperately to shrapnel of life. Oblivion waits for our hand in matrimony. Ease the burdens of our hatred for all that has gone. Life will make us spite, but joy is Made In Taiwan.

The ONLY time I have been fortunate enough to see Rammstein live was at Family Values '98 in Kansas City. They followed Orgy and Limp Bizkit. I was maybe 20 feet from the stage during their set, and this track absolutely made the place go nuts. The liquid is some sort of liquor that has a white-ish tone (for obvious reasons). One big difference from this version was at the end of the song, his uh...apparatus... was still flowing, and as the drums kept going, he started smacking and punching it like "why won't this damn thing shut off already?". Easily the BEST live show I have ever seen.

It felt to me like a quiji board. His mom was using it it and when he used it the demon tottaly screwed with him. He at first mentioned the candle and the box. Perhaps the box had the evil board in it and he lit the candle like his mother did...

a bunch of friends. one marries a lady who tells him "no more going out with your friends they are disgusting" etc. she sends him to tell them he is not with them anymore since he is a married man now, but after a good party he says "screw my wife imma stayin with ya guys". thats more or less how the band described it)))) cause the song itself is a matrimonial vows in german but instead of "i do" till says "nein" - no.
