I had the same response the first time I saw the official video. Tatiana’s stage presence is next level.
@localpyro11 күн бұрын
Notice how Tati’s voice sores with extra harmonics & her growl is super aggressive & so deep, not an act. it’s who she really is..amazing. When they both sing in harmony it’s beautiful.
@st421D25 күн бұрын
So, from what I've heard. Tati's mic was too low so the croud couldn't hear her for some of the song. At some point courtny noticed (you can see her kinda dissapear while Tati is singing ) and told them to turn it up. This was remastered by their producer and he fixed all the audio levels, so this is not exactly what the crowd was hearing. Anyways, I get chills every time I hear/watch this. Its one of the best colabs I've seen, they go so well together.
@beccareichard666925 күн бұрын
It actually wasn’t remastered by their producer, it was remastered by their bass player which is so sick!

Yeah I was in the crowd and you could NOT hear Tati, I was so sad. Everyone was like "is her mic on wtf?!" I'm so glad they came out with an official version where you could hear her.

My favourite Spiritbox song and the feature with Tatiana was otherworldly! Shoutout to Josh as well, killing the harmonies with Courtney as always and Tatiana this time!

Great reaction! My favorite part is where Tatiana is growling underneath Courtney's cleans/harsh near the end. Such a beautiful harmony and sound.

It took you guys long enough to see and react to this! Such a great collab! I love Matt's slow smile slowly grow bigger and bigger during the harsh vocal part, lol. The reason the crowd didn't go super nuts is because they could barely hear Tatiana during the song because the sound guys didn't have her mic turned up. (Find and watch the versions filmed from the crowd and you'll see). Spiritbox mixed the performance to be this fantastic version it is. I'm so glad they did, and we need the two bands to do more together! Tour, album... both. I can't get enough of this collab, and daily search for new reactions for it.

This will forever be my favorite version of this song. I just want this version available for streaming audio. The rumor going around is that Tati mentioned afterward at one of Jinjer's M&Gs on their tour that they didn't even rehearse the song together beforehand. I'm so glad Spiritbox has put out a few concert performances recently with high quality audio. Most of the stuff out there was fan recorded and doesn't do justice to how good they actually sound live.

One word: iconic. This is the collab we have all wanted for such a long time and to see it not as a studio recording, but completely live, gives it such a genuine sound that was executed so well. I would also love a version that could be streamed or downloaded. Spiritbox has officially been able to put out professionally filmed and recorded videos and it’s all I’ve wanted for the longest time. Definitely check out Soft Spine featuring Poppy as well as their live video for Angel Eyes. The different types of screaming styles she does in that one live is amazing!

We were and got to witness this LIVE 🤘 the crowd went apeshit crazy (the video doesn’t show/hear it) when Tatiana came out singing the second verse. Her mic was a little low, but could still hear her… and that drop at the 4:15 mark in your video was AWESOME! The harmonizing of their cleans is absolutely beautiful and when Courtney sings her cleans and Tatiana’s harsh at the same time sent chills up my spine. It was one of the best collabs I’ve ever heard. They need to do more together!!! And seeing it live, something I’ll never forget. Awesome reaction!

So from what I’ve read, they never even practiced this song together. Their on stage performance was the first time they’ve sang it together, which is mind blowing! And I also read that Courtney ran off stage during Tati’s first verse because her mic wasn’t loud enough at first, so most people couldn’t hear her very well. But this is my favorite collaboration ever! They need this version on Spotify

Josh Gilbert (bass, backing vocals clearly audible here) took the tracks from the soundboard recoding and remixed the stuff the following days after the event. Early footage on TT, YT, FB, Insta evidences that Tatiana's vocals were barely listenable in the live sound mix 😢 Well decided, this concert clip will make it aboe 100mn views in less than on year and help to push Spiritbox' and Jinjer's stellar trajectory.
@markdutkiewicz265120 күн бұрын
You said you're surprised that people didn't basically drop their jaws when Tatiana dropped her insane powerfully rich vocals and scream(s). I combed through other live takes off people's phones from this show - and unfortunately for Tati - her vocals were barely heard in the live mix. It was Courtney at 10 & Tati at 4 1/2. I'm sad the audience didn't get the awesome mix we all hear post-production taken off the sound board. I commend Spiritbox's post mix audio team for "getting it right" in this video.
@travisspaulding954025 күн бұрын
Actually, the audio for Tati was fucked completely up and she was near inaudible, so this official mix saved it. That’s why those people didn’t lose their shit. Don’t believe me, search for a crowd recorded version, there are many.
