I want to thank bandai for their attempt at tackling America's children's obesity epidemic. You are right that they should have added milestones to further keep the kids interested in wanting to be active.

I just got my WM2 and I love it! I really wish those FF and REW buttons were flipped since naturally I think that makes more sense. Mine also gets very loud and I can't go past 2 unless I'm using it in my car through the aux. Awesome player though and thanks for your review!

Keep in mind; The Cassette player does not support dolby noise reduction,the mechanism for playing tapes is a chinese knock-off and so audio playback will sound worse then cassette players from back in the day.

first of all Happy New Year! My wife is with the small kid, here is 01:24 and I am scrolling through my kind of videos. Fatherhood has some very small minuses. There is no more Dolby. It was not licenced anymore. Is impossible to have it. Except those chips from teac partially mimicking the Dolby function or the PC alternative software Dolby for audio tapes is dead. As for the mechanism ... A car is like a Dacia or...like a Bentley. Both are cars. It all resumes on the degree of attention for polishing and matching each part. Fiio for instance has the same mech but far more stable compared to other cassette players

@@rusuclaudiu1988 Manufacturers are capable of producing high quality deck today. However, it's not financially viable and as such all companies have to rely on a chinese manufacturer with some modifications to their copycat design inorder to improve the sound quality just alittle bit ...As for Dolby, that can be easyily copied/replicated.

Great review! Very thorough and lots of great points! I purchased this mower today and cut my lawn on the lowest setting and it took approx. 30 mins and 1 1/2 batteries to do the job (950 sq. ft.). I also have the trimmer and leaf blower, as well as hedge trimmer and stick vacuum. It's great that all these tools can run on the same battery!

Question no. 1 :) is it STEREO? does it play tapes in stereo?
@StuffJason437Ай бұрын
I doubt the tape would play in stereo. The Cassette player does not support dolby noise reduction,the mechanism for playing tapes is a chinese knock-off so lots wow,flutter and plays slightly slower then normal.

Your first mistake was letting the paint stripper dry out. You absolutely need to do the removal while the stripper is still wet. Once it dries, its a super pain in the rear to take off.

I copy my music to the music folder on the player with my computer. And to play the music I select Folder (not Music) in menu and go to the music folder to select what I want to play. I have folders in the Music folder with whole albums also. The player will play all music within the folder one after another but will not access/play music in folders within. To play those you must be in the folder (example: Metallica folder) and select a song there to play .

The batteries wouldn’t come out by tapping the light portion that holds the batteries. There was a silver sleeve with threads holding the batteries in. I had to tediously unscrew the sleeve and pull it out before the batteries would come out. Why no instructions for this product, only a diagram on the package showing the battery position?

A dedicated .MP3 player saves the battery on your phone for more important things. It is also completely offline, which is great for privacy and a longer battery life.
@IraQNid10 ай бұрын
They use a micro USB 2-to-USB Type A cable. Any manufacturer that makes that type of cable will work with these players. The one from the thrift store might be damaged. But then you said it worked with a 3rd party cable that has the right sized connector to fit its tiny USB 2 port. It would be interesting to see if the Bluetooth connection can be used to transfer files to the .MP3 player. I believe the card readers in the players are capacity agnostic. Meaning, they can read and write to any Micro SD of any capacity. While the packaging may say otherwise for models that have a memory card slot on the side. I have a SanDisk Sport Clip that was made before Western Digital bought the company. Its user manual states it can only handle up to 32 GB SDHC. But then a newer capacity of 64 GBs for Micro SD memory cards was released, which caused them to email me telling me that my player now supports up to 64 GBs. I tried it with a 64 GB & 128 GB SDXC Micro SD card completely filled with 320 Kbps .MP3s of different playing lengths without any issues at all. It saw the card, the music, played it. So that is why I'm saying the machine doesn't really care what type of Micro SD card you use or the capacity of it. To prove this, I am preparing a test for over 27,500 .MP3s on a 512 GB Micro SD memory card to see if it will be able to read it.

Thank you so much for this in depth review of this mp3. Iam also a fan of standalone mp3 players as i find phones to be heavy and super inconvenient for music, especially on a jog. I have to say this looks decent however the biggest negative for what it actually is would be the price. Where iam from this comes up to nearly 70 euros which is outrageous. I do think lots of good mp3 players got redone with cheaper materials over the last few years while the prices kept inflating but regardless i wouldnt have a problem getting one if i knew it would serve me well for years. With that being said thanks again and take care.

I love portable music players. I hate that phones are getting bigger and bigger now with battery issues. I jog a lot and won't be bringing a large phone while doing that, hence asked someone to buy it from me in the us. Here's the thing, I love it! The simplicity is everything... Until the actual clip at the back broke. Apparently it was made by cheap plastic which is not part of the warranty. So no replacement for me. I am heart broken because I bought for its portability. Great review though!

Yeah, phones are out of control. If I had a choice, I would use an android phone the size of the iphone5. With the low profile case I had on my Iphone 5s, it was perfect. With any luck the market will made it worth it for a company to make one.
