Hi!!! I am happy I find your channel. I love watching your videos! I recently finished my MPH, but I have this ongoing feeling that I should apply to SLP school, I have a huge passion for children, and I have a long history of seeing a SLP as a child that helped me overcome my shyness, so I think it’s a prefect fit!!! I am just nervous about the after licenses requirements? Is there only two after exams we have to take? If so, how many opportunities do we have to pass these exams? Do we need to maintain a license before we apply to our fellowships? I apologize for so many questions!

I am currently enrolled in college, but I am still struggling to find what I want to do for my future. I have been writing down different careers that interest me and also have a good work/life balance. I am in the medical field now and want to stay, but in a different realm than I'm in currently. Thank you for this video.

Hi how are you :) I am pursuing speech pathology and love your videos I am about to transfer to university for my bachelors. I love your videos! I have a question. I speak Spanish and English but my Spanish isn’t perfect I can speak and understand but there are some words that I do not know so I speak Spanglish! I understand and speak a lot it’s just I’m not Perfect. With that being said would I still be considered a bilingual speech pathologist?

Hi Mariella, this video was touching. Thank you for sharing your story. I am in my last year of Bachelor's in Psychology and discovered that it's actually Speech-Language Pathology that I'll be pursuing for Master's. Your other video mentioned that you attended NOVA -which was helpful because I started looking into NOVA. I will continue to weigh my options (focused in Florida area even though I'm from NYC)- I was initially considering Albizu University in Miami since it was there that I initially started to consider SLP. Have you heard of any positive or negative experiences from anyone regarding their program? Once again thank you again- I especially love the way you express your experiences and knowledge.

Hello! I was wondering if you’re able to work a full-time (or at least part-time) job while also being a part of the graduate program for a master’s degree in speech pathology? I need to work to help pay off college debt and bills, but looking at the course load and clinicals I am overwhelmed and unsure of how it works when it comes to a day to day aspect. My plan was to be a teacher while continuing on with my masters degree in speech pathology to help pay for it all. However, now I’m worried I wouldn’t be able to do that. Can you give any information on what your day to day looked like in the grad program, referring to hours daily spent on it?

This is random but a year ago, I was finishing my bachelors in political science until i stumbled upon SLP and fell in a rabbit hole. Around this time last year, I fell in love with the field and your video was one of the first things I watched. This week, I got accepted to graduate school so thank you!
