2nd year SLP grad student here. I just recently found your channel and I'm obsessed. I can't believe I'll be starting my CF next year. Thank you so much for posting these, I love getting a peek into my future life. I love your whole aesthetic, I would love to know somethings you think all CF's need when starting out, from resources to the coffee and water bottles you love. Sort of like a CF starter kit lol

Congrats on your success in SLP grad school!! I'm in my undergrad currently majoring in early childhood education, however I'm very inspired by the work SLP's do with young children. I was wondering what undergrad major you took and if any of your classmates majored in education prior to SLP. I know CSD is popular for undergrad to pursue SLP grad school but I wanted to know if I had a shot in getting in with a degree in childhood education.

shauna S Thank you! You absolutely have a shot. My undergrad was psychology. I took the leveling courses and then applied to graduate school. Childhood education is very relevant to the field! Good luck in your endeavors.

Maybe my first few months I planned. But now as a seasoned SLP I do not plan activities. I have my go to activities. And know my materials and how to target goals. With time you build confidence and no longer need to plan.

Hi how are you :) I am pursuing speech pathology and love your videos I am about to transfer to university for my bachelors. I love your videos! I have a question. I speak Spanish and English but my Spanish isn’t perfect I can speak and understand but there are some words that I do not know so I speak Spanglish! I understand and speak a lot it’s just I’m not Perfect. With that being said would I still be considered a bilingual speech pathologist?
