You can soak it , if you do then cooking time reduces. But I generally don’t soak it overnight.

It is not much🙂.. I can understand the wooden spoon looks big but it only holds less than 1/4 tsp salt..so the amount of salt was appropriate for the cooked dish but if you feel it’s more than please add salt to your taste 😊

Agar aapko aisa lagta hai to koi baat .. gosht tender cook hua tha..sabki apni apni pasand hoti hai… aap apne hisaab se ghost ko pakaaiye jab tak gosht haddi nahi chod deta...... I hope you enjoy the recipe !🙂🙏

It can vary depending on the size of cooker, heat and other factors. But if you are use to cooking daal in pressure then use your timings so you know your daal is cooked. If not then pressure cook on medium heat for 3 whistles and then cook for 10 mins on very very low heat and switch off gas.

The spoon is a very small wooden spoon so 10 spoons equals to only 2 Tsp salt

It is surely not 10 Tsp Salt.🙂 The wooden spoon I am using is less than 1/4 tsp even if it looks big. To add 1 Tsp salt- I have to fill that spoon 4-5 times. Kindly please add salt to your taste !🙂

I have not tried cooking this dish without pressure cooker but I have cooked lamb without pressure cooker and it takes a lot longer to cook.

There is no reason you can’t but I seared it and pressure cooked it for a while giving time for all the flavors to sip into the shanks but you can put small cuts if you prefer..😊
