I hate whenever anyone would say I'm talented. No, I'm not. I wasn't born with some innate ability. No one is born an expert. Hard work and introspection to find a new avenue pays off.

How do I find KZbinrs with ADHD more entertaining to watch? I don't have(or isn't diagnosed?) with ADHD I guess, but I relate 100% with the problems they have... I fully relate the fact that doing things greatly or behaving nicely gives me more free time and that free time means more video games😂

Yo society isn't done yet. You kept referring to "thousands of years ago" like it's the only place for new discoveries or potential for ADHD people to work, but we need people of all kinds still in the here and now. We still need new inventions, improvements, and so much. I think the video games can become a way of coping from a toxic part of society that tries to kill creative minds...

I think this might be the most useful and helpful video I have ever watched ^^ I originally just wanted to let this video play for a few seconds to have it in my history but you quickly managed to have the attention of my entire brain and now I'm writing this comment after I finished it in one go without clicking off xD (Perhaps I was so intrigued that I actually went into a flow state?) As someone with multiple overlapping neurodivergent traits, likely including adhd, I cannot stress enough just how much I resonate with this and how I feel like I see the whole world more clearly now. Thank you so much <3

20:00 you should try to not start a new take, change your tone and start reading from a script when doing an ad, its really jarring.

My man, this is a great video but, check me out what you’re talking about around 10 minutes is dopamine. I’m 27 as well but, I was diagnosed at a young age and was put on too much medication (90mgs of adderall a day from 12-18) which messed up the production of dopamine in my brain, dopamine is what creates that “rewarding” feeling in the brain, my dopamine production/receptors are screwed due to the meds I was on and now I can’t get out of bed with out them, and yeah I tried a year without them and was a mess
@NeatOnTheRocks
@NeatOnTheRocks 3 күн бұрын
I haven't seen evidence to suggest that stimulant use can damage your dopamine production long-term, especially as ADHD already has to do with a dopamine deficiency--but it definitely sounds like you were made to develop a strong dependance against your will, and I'm sorry to hear that.
@OrgnlProductions

@NeatOnTheRocks thank you, for the info but in my case, it’s not damage, but improper development. I’ve been working with psychiatrists and psychologists for years, and they agree that it could have affected my brain’s development since I was on those 90mgs from 12-18yrs old. My hypothesis that’s been agreed with is because my brain developed alongside adderall, it failed to properly develop my dopamine receptors/production since that was being “handled” by the adderall. I don’t in fact have ADHD but ADD, I’m not very sure what the difference is, never looked into ADHD much

Hey man, I saw this video back in may. Sat with it for a long while, marinated and even procrastinated too. But it turns out, I've been enjoying the art of creation lately. Its amazing to get all these ideas out of my head and into something tangible. Its been beautiful, despite each of my projects getting exponentially more complex. I enjoy it, hard to believe 10 years I've told myself I couldn't ever do this kinda thing (POV Windows Movie Maker in 2013) but its been a very fulfilling activity. Wanted to comeback and tell you thanks

Since moving to the Netherlands to study, I've found myself traveling all over to any friends I knew spread across the country. People in my life pointed out how I was always in a different city every day and I myself likened it to side quests I did to keep myself moving. This video really resonated with me in that regard and so many others (including Sonic), so thank you so much for providing a voice of direction and encouragement! (Extra points for the spinning in place and taking off thing... Sonic really strangely fits all of this so well, makes sense why I gravitate to the franchise so much)

have you read The War of Art by Steven Pressfield? its a motivational/self help book that talks about a lot of subjects this video and the ego bring up. if you havent read it I would highly recommend it! I'm usually pretty wary of self help books especially with a lot of "self help" influencers online generally being really terrible (like andrew tate), but it was a very down to earth book, not too long, and isnt focused on the "grindset" type of stuff. the author usually writes fiction so its a pretty entertaining read too, I'm pretty sure its the first nonfiction book I've read in full that wasn't required for school

This helped me a lot on figuring out why I couldn't pay attention in some classes and just conked asleep, but MAN is the test bubble thing relatable, the best way i could ever get through it was pretending they were racing to have the most filled in, which led to me changing my answers to make my favorite letter win lol

This video was sitting in my "watch later" since it got published and I just now went back to comb through videos I didn't watch over the past month. I was on a Sonic video essay bender and saw Sonic in the thumbnail and was like "hell yeah another Sonic video essay" but was pleasantly surprised that it was not that at all, but something a bit more meaningful lmao

Idk if this says something about me when; my plan was to listen to music and make coffee for myself... I spent 13 minutes on this video just sitting on the couch watching this instead of doing that. Also, maybe you might clarify in my comment? Dunno, but... whenever I play a game, and am into it and doing extremely well and am fully immersed and stuff, I myself call that being "in a State" or "Flow." Is that right?
