@@southrevolt8644 if I don’t like it I get rid of it right away. I was upset at first but knew it was the crap strings and cables non stop stretching. With the nice weather I will do a video over everything very soon. If you come from Mathew’s you will like it. Some people are just anti Mathew’s and will say everything bad they can. I test bows when buying so I shoot more than one brand at a time before I make a purchase and it held better than the others even without stabilizers. I’d imagine the 40 will hold even better so as soon as my shop gets one I will shoot it and hopefully buy it.

I 100% agree on your Marsupial review here. I was in a shop in Dallas and saw this same one. Almost instantly I noticed the thing was sewn out of square? One side was literally off a 1/4”. You could see it easily when the hood was closed. And my wife, who is not a hunter etc was the one that said the range finder pouch hangs sloppy. It’s good you took the time to make this video.

I bought a Marsupial about a year ago. The only thing I don't like about it is the webbing is too small. I can wear it in the Spring or Summer but if I'm wearing a jacket I can't get it on. Do you know if any other brand webbing will work with the the bino pouch?

@@Verticalbowoutdoors Thank you very much. I contacted Marsupial an they responded that they do have Extra large webbing harnesses in black and they are sending one to me. I’m dang sure not a pro shooter but I’ve found for me less weight on the stabilizers gets me more center/near center hits. I think it’s because the pin can move/ recover towards the center faster. I’ve tried various weight combinations of all kinds for literally hundreds of shots each. Then I came across a video where the kid that won Vegas at 16 years old uses light weighting on his bow for this reason. Glad you made it back to making vids. I enjoy your content. I think we are mostly on the same page.👍👍

@@timbow50 more weight slows my pin movement down a lot and like a lot of weight in the back bar to push the pin up into the target. I’ve been messing with weight for a while and on this bow it just works for me. I don’t run a lot of weight on my trx 7 though. 6 on the back and two on the front but the triple gets 19 on the back and 6 on the front. Every bow holds different though.

I've read the zippers are too loud and the main opening zipper hangs up on the top corners. What are your thoughts on that? Didn't get to see you unzip or zip the main compartment to tell but at the end at 7:52 that side pocket zipper sounded really loud. In the early quiet mornings that is a major concern and seems this bag has loud zippers. Too bad as I was really wanting to use it with that shelf and it is on sale right now. Appreciate your reply.

@@sameold77 I’m not worried about a zipper making noise at all. Every zipper makes noise. The zippers are heavy duty zippers that I don’t have to worry about breaking every time I open the bag. I don’t get people obsession with try to be completely silent. It’s impossible. My camera makes more noise than any zipper I have ever heard and old mature bucks don’t even hear that do really the last thing I’m worried about is a zipper making noise.

Even if you perfectly match the arrow weights, there are more factors that play into being able to keep the same sight tape. Had the same problem, tried the same thing switching from 6mm arrows to 5.2mm arrows and from bohning vanes to TAC vanes. At the identical weight, I gained around 6-7 yards on my current sight tape at 50 yards. Having left / right difference to your 4mm arrows might mean you need to re-tune your bow / arrow rest to the thicker arrows.

I do shoot some in the wind( Texas panhandle) but I find I want to punch the thumb button so I can hopefully hit the target spot lol. All of which is detrimental to good technique. But some local shoots and ASA events have the wind. I have a setup at my home where I can stand in the garage out of the wind and shoot to about 90 yards. Luckily, this allows me to seriously work on my form and technique. 👍👍🏹👀

I used the Carter Quickie Plus trigger for years and years. A long time ago an older archer taught me how to set it up and learn to pull thru the shot versus using my finger to command/punch it. Was a major game changer. No more drive by firing. I learned to be able to hold on target and just pull. It’s my backup now. I have used the Wise Choice for about 6 years now. The newer model has no travel,it’s really zero on my unit, but tension adjustment only. I use it exclusively. But, I have to say one summer I used the hinge Total Control and actually shot my PB 3-d ASA score ever with it. I mess with it now and then just to stay in tune with it. I enjoy your videos and narrative.👍👍🏹🏹👀👀

I think the blackout might not be good for new shooter’s because it is so hard to make it fire thus people could easily get into the punching habit. Many new shooters aren’t in archery shooting shape and can’t hold back very long at all which would help in learning to punch.
