Good shooting how do you like that quiver
@Verticalbowoutdoors11 ай бұрын
The best field quiver ever. So versatile and comfortable.

I do shoot some in the wind( Texas panhandle) but I find I want to punch the thumb button so I can hopefully hit the target spot lol. All of which is detrimental to good technique. But some local shoots and ASA events have the wind. I have a setup at my home where I can stand in the garage out of the wind and shoot to about 90 yards. Luckily, this allows me to seriously work on my form and technique. 👍👍🏹👀

I noticed that myself shooting in windy days. It’s hard not to punch

looks like your hitting the trigger a little maybe try to go up to like 3 yards from target and shoot with your eyes closed and really focus on squeezing through your shot helped me a lot

I’m opening my hand up. Push pull and letting my hand open up.

looks like your draw weight is too high, brother. back your limb bolts out as few turns, and see if its easier to draw,
@Verticalbowoutdoors11 ай бұрын
It’s not to much weight. I’m below my max draw weight at 62 pounds. I have two bad verts in my neck and the extra leverage helps out more with the pain in my neck.

Genuine question, why do you bring the bow up so high before you draw back? I'm new so just curious
@Verticalbowoutdoors11 ай бұрын
I have neck issues and I need the extra leverage. I get asked all the time.
@TruckManThings11 ай бұрын
thats how i used to shoot too, it promotes proper draw in newer shooters. keeps your rear elbow up. lots of new shooters draw wirth their elbow down and then bring it up after full draw.

So what part of Northwest Indiana? Because I am just about as Northwest Indiana as you can get.
@Verticalbowoutdoors11 ай бұрын
I live in portage and the range I am shooting is in lake station. I’m as northwest as you can go as well. If you ever want to shoot a little let me know. 3d shoots every Saturday if you want to go out and have some fun.
