where is a rider supposed to store shield during a ride to wear goggles? that's a major loss. I don't understand how arai could eliminate one of best features of xd4? I loved being able to close shield while wearing goggles. that sucks

Two of my biggest regrets in 2025. Buying this stupid XD5 and watching this ridiculous video… I’ve had 3 XD4 helmets and they were wonderful. I won’t be buying another Arai product.

I had a crash in early Oct. I have an Arai Quantum X. I was in the hospital for a couple months due to dislocating my right knee and tearing tendons in my left. I have absolutely no other injuries after running of the road and tumbling down an embankment (came into a turn too fast). I am glad I had a great quality helmet. When I got it back from the tow yard I saw it took a hard impact to the forehead and yet I didn't feel a thing. I am 1,000% sold on Arai

Have the corsair X and it’s actually not easy to get open while riding. Maybe will take some time to break in.

Just bought a regent x broke the latch on the 2nd day. Expected more out of a helmet that cost north of 500$

I swear on all that is holy I just spoke to Arai US customer service and spoke the the guy in this video. Voice is a near exact match. This was his recommendation to resolve some slight sound I'm getting from my Contour-X which I absolutely love by the way.

what a stupid video it shows you how install the shield but not how to remove a WONKY shield. The plastic screw under the right side of my shiel keeps loosening up and stops the shield from functioning. This is a $1,000.00 helmet. It is my 5th and last Arai. What a piece of crap.
