Of course, it's painful. My dog started to lay down sooo carefully. My dog has the freedom to sleep on my bed, or his raised bed, pillows, all of that, but like you said, dogs like cool places.. I can't watch him on the floor but, thats his favorite place

Yeah my doctor told me that basically just because my food allergies only cause mouth sores and hives/itchiness now doesn't mean they can't suddenly start to cause anaphylaxis so i should stop risking it 😂 Makes sense but I was never told until then that they can/will increase in severity!

I’m fostering a 7 month old dog that was in a bad situation for a few months. Starved and locked in a cage. She drinks crazy amounts of water and pees like 15 times a day. Maybe more! I let her outside and take her for walks at least every hour and she still pees inside literally 15min later. Large puddles. I saw her hold it for 6h before in the kennel and she just saw a vet so I don’t think it’s a medical issue. I’m honestly at my wits end. She is also peeing in the kennel now. No matter what I do she just wont stop. I’m devoting tons of time to fixing this but nothing is working.

My dog has been peeing in the kitchen (where hes not allowed to be) when we arent lookibg. (He also used to go in the bathrooms but we started closing the door so that isnt really a problem now. But he's been doing this kitchen peeing on and off for a few years now. He's still intact and I'm afraid it's already a habit. It's it possible to get him to stop or should i just buy him the diapers and be done with it?

This process hurts vets too. Reason why there is a vet suicide hotline for them and I lost one of my vets because of it. Will never really know why but their love for animals and their care was personal. Animals in our care are not like humans. Most love unconditionally if treated properly and really become part of a family. I lost a Boxer a few years ago due to cancer and got another. Had to put Pete down and was a hard process. To me, where I got him(Tank) from was not really the best conditions, it was like a back yard breed farm, but I was also on a budget and he was the largest of the litter, thus the Tank namesake. I can't speed large amounts of cash for a breed type dog and for me a full bloodied Boxer was a must. I know I at least put one of this litter in a good family home. He lives inside, is fed well and lives in comfort. He, Tank sleeps with me every night because I snore really badly and me and wife decided that we can not share a bedroom anymore. It is just the case of life when you reach your 60's. He is always in protection mode, like a watchful eye. He sleeps at the end of my bed, with his head facing the doorway. While up, he looks out the sliding glass door for anything out of place. He loves the wife and more gentle with her, than with me. With me his is more playful and wants to get in my lap everyday after I get home from work. When I show up at our door, it is like a Christmas morning with a child. It will be hard to let him go after his time is up and I know it is coming.

Was doing a google search because i've been worried about my 5-year old lab getting testicular cancer since when i was a lot younger my mom's dog (miniature Pinscher) had it at around 10-12 years old and died as a result of it. Though he's pretty young, i know that he would be considered almost mid-life potentially and so, naturally, i'm scared to hell and back. However, i've been checking (as weird is it is) and i don't think he has it. But i would like to thank you for making this video. It's very informative and helped me greatly given that you provide statistics/percentages for matastastis and what-not. So, i'm now much less worried about risk (though, i'm still getting him neutered-) of my boy having cancer *currently*. :) Though, general idea on how likely it is for a dog outside the typical range to develop testicular tumors would also be useful.

My vet tech friend told me my dogs glands are shaped a little weird (he's 85 pounds), but we think that's why his glands dont express naturally. She would do an intwrnal expression and he'd need it monthly. He does leak it sometimes when its full and we are trying to prevent it ourselves since we have moved out of state!

Vet gave my dog a nasel spray, do u know how hard it is to place drops in the nose of a dog. Anyway not working.

What about if they also have diabetes? I am to only feed every 12 hours and do insulin after eating. I have yet to get enough blood to home test and she has gotten. Low sugar a couple times. Thank God I was home, not at work.

Ok a few point that i dont like about how you phrase it. 1: "make it organic" but not saying anything about the olive and coconut oil which both can be extra and/or virgin meaning cold pressed and/or nothing added or full of chemical bs 2: the "try" infront bc especially in the us there can be chemicals in the canned stuff that you dont want to feed your pet. Eating all the chemicals yourself is ok bc you understand that they will harm you but a pet doesnt. 3: not saying how much of anything to use including actual medication but also the pumpkin. Like do i have to feed half a pumpkin or just a few bites? And how often? Once? Once a day? For how long etc etc etc 4: telling people to use medication that is used on humans too and not telling them to visit their vet first so he/she can tell them the dose etc Yes, these points are pretty petty but we both know that americans have done weirder/even more stupid things then going 'hey i still have that medication so ill just give my cat a few of these pills' or going to buy the human version which is probably dosed a lot higher per pill and giving that to them etc. There is a reason why the US prints 'do not dry pets in this microwave' signs and its not bc the people there are so smart.

Im against this. Pets can't consent to being killed. Say all you want about pets suffering, but you would never do that to your mom or dad. What makes our species better than dogs or cats. My niece put her dog down today. She said before they went to the vet, she gave her dog ice cream. And she held her dog while he was basically ODing on drugs until he died. Why would a person put themselves through that? Animals die all the time naturally in the wild. We are dang selfish to take it upon ourselves to kill pets! I love my niece but I secretly disagree with what she did. What's the point of having a pet if you are going to kill them?

My 12 year old boarder collie/mut is getting surgery tomorrow morning. I had my brother take her in to get her heart murmur checked today (i had my own dr appointment to go to) because I thought it was that. Next thing I know, i get home and my brother tells me to call the vet right away to discuss my girl going in for surgery. She had a fast growing (and I mean fast) tumor on her lip a few months back that turned out to be benign (surprisingly). Shes been slowly bleeding into her abdomen maybe over a week or two and I just hadn’t realized it. Shes got spots on her liver (which they said may or may not be old age spots). I am just praying that we can get this out and I can at least take her for a few more walks before I have to say goodbye.

So this guy just deleted my comment you do not need to pay 150 - 200$ for eye drops you could use chamomile tea for eye infections or eye discharge just use the tea bag and put it on your dogs eye 3 to 4 times a day for 4 days dont give your money to these thieves

Ok…as a “hooman” female, who has severe OAB, Urge Incontinence, AND Stress Incontinence, the only thing I’ve found to completely make the issue go away….is having Botox shots in the bladder…INSIDE the bladder. Would be interested to know if this would work for doggies as well. Never hurts to ask.
