When a GFX card with 32mb was considered privileged . Yeah. Lol i dont think anyone prediced moores law to be bypassed completely. If you could install software in your brain, which i guess is the goal.. then i guess your body would know exactly what to do in a hypertube if technology got that far. In addition imagine in a perfect world were peoplee dont want to hurt people or steal (this world doesnt exist obviously, war never changes) imagine you download "driving" software, reality is augmented so instead of mirrors backup cameras you have static floating consoles around displayed directly into your optic nerves, connecting you to the vehicles outside cameras. Then the "software" sends signals through your body like an "assist" helping you avoid crashes, or otherwise the hyperloop, driving like a computer at highspeeds easily with only centimeters of tolerance. I suppose the end game goal they keep saying is combining AI with humanity.

I'm confused: if Madison conjured Irene to finally have a friend she could trust and confide in, then why did Irene turn to dust as soon as they declared their friendship, implying that she had served her purpose? The purpose of a friend is to stay a friend, not just to declare friendship and then disappear. Madison was genuinely heartbroken when Irene 'died', so how could that purpose have been served? Or have I misunderstood the meaning?
