It’s about power and control. Money has to be kept circulating and expanding within the inner circle. It’s prevalent in all industries. We have a deeper understanding of human nature as practicing Martial Artist. Thank you for speaking the truth Keenan.

Youll always be able to overpower women? Lol ....interesting. ive seen women destroy men in matches 😂. But yeah okay. Ive also seen small dudes easily submit larger men and same for women.

I asked MG about that roll - i asked him how good was Keenan he said he could not say because he was not in competition shape or mode. Which i took it as - if i was at my best..100% when i rolled with him then i could tell you..GOAT answer.

I don't know who the person you referenced as having 'invented' this hold is, but the hold has existed in professional wrestling since at least the 1960s, and I think considerably longer than that. Perhaps he had seen it in his youth. While he had no conscious memory of it, the hold remained in his subconscious until one day it surfaced into his conscious mind. This is pure conjecture on my part. He may indeed have figured out the mechanics of it on his own--but he didn't 'invent' it.

When brazilians came to the U.S with jiujitsu, they attached their identity to it. It was consiquently marketed this way for years to come. You make some really good points. Let people decide for themselves what the identity politics are. I learned jiujitsu in the U.S and never was immersed in a brazilian atmosphere. -Tradition should be honored, it should never be worshipped. - Chau from Northern Black Dragon Fist

When to use it ? : Use it by forcing him to put one of his hips on the mat by walking on one side (alternative pass in this situation : stack pass (can also be done in open guard), knee cut+++) OR by pinning one of his legs to the floor in dlr/ex (more difficult) Useless if he has grips : do it only in open guard when he has no grips or after breaking grips (hand grips) In the same time : grip his collar/behind his neck and put pressure with ur head and long step Main goal of the head pressure+the collar /neck grip : pinning his shoulder to the mat so he can only reguard with his leg To prevent reguarding with his leg : putt your hand near his J point pass combo : 6:53

I just watched the Ryan Hall version b4 this. I kinda like Keenan’s Left arm placement better cause what’s not mentioned is u need that outside over hook for the triangle and this placement isolates that from the start. Great vid! Thank you!

Nobody bodder me. They're all cultish and weird. Worshiping an Ernie Reyes Jr. as a little kid kicking people is weird. People dressing up as turtles or super hero's and doing kung fu is weird. It sucks that the gym you were training at was crazy. There were good things about that gym. It wasn't fancy. He took a very ordinary commercial space and focused on real instruction. It had a rocky 2 vibe where Sylvester Stalone gets away from the hollywood hulk hogan stuff and goes to apollos gym. But then I think he started to turn hollywood hulk hogan himself. It's hard to keep the integrity of anything because most americans are lazy, and want to turn everything into a chucky cheese type experience, or birthday party experience. Richard Simons hugging fat people is cultish and weird too but people won't complain about that. Or they won't complain about planet fitness because that's as cultish and weird as steroids fitness. Neither of them have academic integrity. The Answer is because everything is Bullshit in America.

I absolutely have no problems with the 1st one, where you pushing elbows to create some pain. whenever it is used against me, or I am the one using it(i see in the comments that a lot of people agree with me). However, once a visited a class in another place and the guy just raged and started slaming me for doing so. I guess the lesson here, is that there are some dojos (gyms) where people get this move from you as being a d*ck. I learned the lesson and just started to ask if its ok with the oppenet when I am doing so

Lmao getting ready for a bjj competition isn’t hard or stressful, don’t cut weight grapple at the weight your at, and don’t trip I’ve been wrestling my entire life have over 1000 grappling match’s and have competed at some of the highest levels of wrestling and I preformed my best when I wasn’t scared it opened up my wrestling and I was able to do things I usually wouldn’t be able to do if I was nervous basically the more comfortable you are the better you will grapple
