I attended the USN Gas Turbine Systems school back in 1984. While this video wasn't one that was used (as I remember, anyway) it brings back memories of the training and experience I had. DD, DDG & FFG ships had GE LM2500 main engines. DD, DDG & CG-47 ships had the Allison 501 K-17 engines for Ships Service Gas Turbine Generators (SSGTG). R-R-B-R-R-B-R

Wow on your video btw and I'm not a jet engine expert and I mean not in terms of lasi and by that I mean most certain lasi a ton like a not is a knot and you know what you not and yet lasi and yet I think jet engines and also other types of engines are interesting. That makes me think of the song "Ylvis - Trucker's Hitch" who demonstrates what a not is and whether you say not or knot you tie however is that you tied that not and so I do think that is something that is important and that is what kind of not that you had knotted all up. Given how much time that the different jet engines have existed I would think that there is also a very steep curve for anyone to be able to modify any of the jet engine characteristics. That makes me think of the song "Miley Cyrus - The Climb" and so I find that is interesting and is also a bit humorous. Yet, what are the materials that cooled the fastest that can be used to even make a jet engine? What materials in that regard shed ion and electrostatic buildup? What are some of the things that can modify the efficiency of the jet engines? I wonder that again because of how much time the jet engines have existed and if there is any sort of likelihood that someone could further determine any sort of extra efficiencies from the design in terms of the engineering blueprint schematics of the different types of jet engines. So, in terms of possible efficiency increases that could cause an increase in the THRUST and also determining those reasons, it seems it could be via the engine design in terms of the engine blueprint schematic, but also the materials that the engine are made up of and also how the engine is being utilized and even the outer coverings if they are being energized but also the types of fuel that the engine is burning. I think that is just three possible types of areas for possible increases in engine efficiency with just those constraints but I think it could be done as what is a group 5 classification study and yet that was probably also already done and so I was just saying I find this humorous in some sense and that is your video and also lasi at the same time and for many reasons and so that also makes me thing of the song "Wicked - Defying Gravity" and because it is a very good song and I think it is also a very important song. Again, I could imagine that the materials that the engine are made of can cause both a type of ion and electrostatic buildup and that could cause a big reduction in the engine's performance and also cause the engine to run much hotter and also deliver much less thrust from all of that churning and gargle so to speak. Thus, I would think that materials and also the design itself that is using those materials would effect that and further also the fuels that are being used and how well they combust and also any remnants from that combustion and say for instance that some fuels rather than generating extra airflow that they are further generating ion buildup and electrostatic buildup from any or all of things and that could reduce the performance and so the efficiency of the engine. It would also cause the engine to be less stealthy. The engine might run both hotter and also louder. I wasn't saying I was a jet engine expert and yet I was wondering again and given a specific engine design the different ways that the THRUST was changed by the materials themselves and the reasons why and that can include also from say again both heat and also different ion and electrostatic buildup events and also from the materials themselves given a specific engine design aspect or schematic and the study of the efficiencies of the jet engine based upon holding the engine to it's schematic. Anyways, I think some might also call that the different ways that the materials and also the fuels being burned are also being energized and generating an energized environment and how the parts are holding that buildup from both the parts and also the fuels that are being burned in that specific engine and for determining any sort of engine efficiency increases via that method. So I am curious about that and that again is how the materials and the fuels caused different amounts of THRUST and the reasons why for engine efficiencies. I would think that knowing both the types of fuel and materials and a study of the engine from that aspect that it might yield or show any performance increase possibilities from the engine design itself. How else is it that someone could possible make any sort of impact on something that has existed for such an amount of time that has had so many people work on it? I don't think that I can think of any reasons. I do like the song in the movie Top Gun "Danger Zone" and this video made me thing of that music video. Anyways, a material and fuel specification for the type of jet engine and a classification of the engines by the type of fuel and materials and the efficiency of the engine because of it's design and specific to the materials and the fuel that is to be burned is something that would be useful and I would think necessary if for some reason such a thing doesn't exist for some reason. Beyond that, I would have thought that any other factors would be a group 4 and 5 classification and yet group 1 and 2 if that is group 1 is the material and group 2 is the fuel and group 3 is the engine design how it is that things all had a change in the engine efficiency and also by group 3 and that is the engine design. There are also cost efficiencies and that I would think would be group 5 and group 4 would be anything else that was determined that must be known about what the engine is doing and providing as a group 4 classification. Thus, by doing group categorization and a study of those groups that maybe some other engine efficiencies could be determined and also by those group categorizations and classifications in order to further understand the engine efficiencies for any chosen jet engine. This was also probably done already and yet if it wasn't done maybe there are those merits that I said to be had by doing such a process architecture modeling and again by group classification and how those modified the studied efficiencies. Again, I was wondering how the materials that could be used and cool the fastest performed for jet engines and also within that aspect further how those further developed into the materials that shed both ion and electrostatic buildup and by the type of fuel that is being burned. Anyways, I think your video demonstrates that it would be a steep curve to think that just anyone could make an improvement in jet engines. I think you made a very good video. Let's say that could burn the necessary fuel and rather than the previous MD-12 concept that an MD-11 that is say 209 feet and with a wing stretched forward some and also back and so that made wider wing and both to the front but also to the back and that it also still utilized 3 engines and yet also newer more efficient engines and so those things compiled together to make a MD-11 into a MD-12 and so I wonder how that is something other than a type of space shuttle besides a very nice cargo plane that could also be utilized for other purposes and that might still include as a passenger jetliner? How does or would that plane compare and compete if there was any sort of competition say with the A350F and as an example the MD-12 would have maybe around same TRHUST to however much extra from the 3 engines and yet it is smaller and also has much shorter wingspan and that must have a lot of efficiencies also such as the airports that it can land at and also the wear and tear on the plane and the parts. In addition, the airports that the MD-12 could land at and also take off from would be more than say a A350F some might think. I would also think that if that MD-12 modeled by the MD-11 was just a few inches wider than the MD-11 that those extra few inches could also be important and that includes for cargo, strength, fuel, people, and the aerodynamics of the aircraft. What I am also saying is that I wonder if there is a max MD-11 that provides a max efficient cargo plane as a new MD-12 version that is based upon the min overall wingspan necessary before the wingspan must increase and so I was thinking that might be 209 feet and if that plane could also be utilized for some other purposes. I was thinking about that because I would think that would also be a very big engineering marvel if such a thing could exist. And even in the slight material compositions as a property of the material that is formed by the slight compositional makeups as varying materials and the effects that had on the jet engine efficiencies and again just looking at this from say an average user standpoint the curve is very steep and yet I still tried to make some possible suggestions. Yet, further on that MD-12 and if two constraints are that it is that the plane is an exact 209 feet in length with less than or equal to a maximum possible 178 foot wingspan and a cockpit that is modeled after a combination of the 787 and also the space shuttle, is that a possible plane? In terms of the material compositions and makeup again and even in the slightest variations along with the type of fuel being burned that the materials fight in Quantum Reality in a sense to stay cool and also withstand the heat and pressures of the jet engine and are suitable for jet engines that also evacuate any ion and electrostatic buildup would be the next miracle in jet engines if such a thing exists with those properties aligned in terms of any of further possible optimizations. I most certain think that such a thing exists and it is also because of the nature of the increased cooling effects of the chosen materials causing the evacuation and if suitable for a jet engine. Anyways, a lot of constraints, in addition to the incredible engineering marvels!!. I think that the song "Take That - Love Love" is important!!. Thank You!!.

Again, this is one of the best videos I have seen on the jet engine and components. And I hope that there is much more innovation that is possible and like the songs: I thought of this classic: Snoopy V.S. The Red Baron -- The Royal Guardsman Combined With: Moves Like Jagger - Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera & Again F-35A Is And Was Y: LOCKHEED F-35 TRIBUTE - CALL ON ME B: Michelle Branch - Breathe (Official Music Video) | Warner Vault A: Is Much More Scary: Take That - Love Love (Official Video) ? Anyways, is and was part of what I thought. Wow, on the F-35 right? Major engineering accomplishment by a lot of people. I was looking at that plane and I also wondered why it was that it couldn't be turned into a twin engine bomber fighter rather than a fighter bomber and at say oh 70 feet I think it may have similar stability retain her narrow wingspan and maybe around 47 feet with enough power from her two engines and so I wondered if such a planes might be possible and could exist and I think they would be the F-35D and F-35E Bomber Fighters and the F-35E would have different feature and a slightly different configuration in those two variants!!. I think it's that you must also add a bit of excitement to it, thus: 3. Grease-Greased Lightning 1080p-With Lyrics 2. Miranda Lambert-Bluebird (Official Video) Anyways, I put some excitement on it and because I think those planes would also be very exciting to see and I think that the F-35 looks like flying a Bluebird so is different than F-22's. Thank You!!. 1. KanRaf-Popcorn (Original Song)

The MiG 29 didn’t compare well to the newer western planes in service at the time. It was better than what Russia had, but still wasn’t on par. That it is Ukraines top fighter not able to go up against Russia’s newer MiGs is why they have been begging for F-16s, a plane from the 80s. 40 year old western planes can make use of tech the MiG 29 can’t

One question I have about this explanation is why the combustion exhaust all seems to go out the exhaust. The combusting gases would go in all directions, so some would go forward too.

Excellent video! Explained so much in detail and easy to follow. Best I’ve seen of all the youtube jet videos. Yet the one question I’ve had for years remains unanswered. With a rocket, it’s easy to see that the combustion gases push against the rocket nozzle itself, thus transferring thrust to the superstructure. With a turbojet, ALL the videos and explanations just say “Newtons Law”, gas jets out the back and gives forward thrust. But exactly WHAT is the exhaust gas “pushing against”? The best I can imagine is most is pushing against the forward structures of the combustion chambers, and a good portion is also effectively pushing against the compressed air at the last stage of the compressor. I imagine the compressed air forms a stationary front, just aft of the final blade wheel. And since exhaust gas cant really ‘push’ against air (another gas), it is actually the spinning compressor blades “generating” the “thrust” as they maintain 20-40 ATM compressed air pressure. Thus the “thrust” is actually ultimately generated in the main rotor itself, and transferred to the superstructure by the bearing system. I recall on commercial flights, at takeoff, the engines whine higher and higher and higher - then there’s a sudden ‘boom’ and solid roar - I think that is the stationary compressed air front forming and reaching static equilibrium with the combustion front. Anyone can comment on this?
