why don't you become a compounder(assistant to a doctor in india/Pak). you will just have to crush medicine in a mortel and pestle and once doctor dies you can take his place without a degree.

I feel this way as a UX Designer and animator. The whole industry is full of toxic people. It’s unbelievable.

“All I knew was medicine was pain” - You are always voicing my thoughts, that I thought I was alone in it, but now I know there’s other people who think exactly the same and this is making me cry in relief

Sister you just dodged a bullet. In west bengal india , a lady resident doctor was raped and killed in 2024. Just search rg kar case and you will see ample videos. The girl was bullied for a year, stalked, possibly gang raped and killed in the same hospital she worked in by the senior doctors she trusted. She was at the pinacle of her career and she could not make out of the college just because she clapped back at the bullies and the hospital corporate. Her body was burned before proper police report. There was a huge scale rally to protest against rape culture. Its all documented and the case has gone cold because of the political games. End of the day, Nothing is worth ones life. Toxicity is normalised in colleges all over india and i absolutely hate that. I am an aspirant doctor but now i have 2nd thoughts about my decisions. but my parents are pulling a blind eye at the rg kar case, calling this a rare event. I live in a crazy world and everyday is hard for me because i have to do a differnt bachelors course while preparing for neet. Seeing that you came out of this nexus and shared your pleas through this video, i am very very thankful. Stay blessed didi. Godspeed. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I too, during my time working as a house officer realized that i don't want to continue this path. And like most I'm not supported in this decision of mine. So ya, i understand the pain and level of frustration of all those who resonate with this video. However the scenario of my life, will definitely take steps towards my interest. We all must make plan, be brave and take the leap.

I’m only studying medicine for my parents. No, they didn’t force me, they actually encouraged me and my sisters to choose whatever we want, my sisters naturally chose whatever they wanted, but I wanted to make my parents happy ig by choosing medicine since I see the majority of parents wanting their kids to be doctors, so I was like “yeah why not, let me do this maybe my parents want this but don’t want to say it”. I personally don’t care for college, I did want to be a lawyer once, but then I just stopped caring. Now I’m studying medicine.

Always informative Hana :) and you really say a lot of the right things, i am lucky as i have mentioned in previous comments in that i found a job i love and have worked at for 20 years (ii am in my 30s, now and since a kid ialways loved the work we do!), so quitting is something i shall never do but for others i can see so many reasons why people want to quit, but ideally, i hope everyone can find the perfect work for them

Thank you. :) It is sad when talented individuals are lost to a career path because of the state of that industry, but. What's an important message to me is that courage to go and do new things and find those opportunities that are more enjoyable. (Berlin start-ups seem to be a hype place collecting young people at the moment.)

The problem is they discuss how nurses are constantly bullied by doctors and other patients but no one discusses how much doctors are bullied by nurses and nothing is ever done about it when they are the ones who went to school the longest and are the ones who make the most money and to be honest are usually the kindest and easiest to deal with in hospital settings I feel it stems back the mean girls from high school bullying the smart loner kid except the mean girls are now the nurses and the smart loner kid is now a successful doctor it’s all about jealously and narcissism
