Phil Rudd is arguably 'the' drummer for this band - there from the early days, Rudd is AC/DC.

So many great Brian songs by this point. Why are they playing so many Bon songs?

I hate to say it, but I don’t think the Backtracks version of You Shook Me All Night Long has the studio version vocals as the overdub. Even adjusting for the tempo difference, It just doesn’t sound like the studio version’s vocal track. It could be a different studio take or a vocal track from a different recording (likely from 1981), but it’s not THE studio vocal track from Back In Black in my opinion. However, I don’t believe it is the vocal track from their 1983 performance in Detroit. I’d love to see what proof there is that it’s the studio version’s vocals.

The one they released as a b-side in 1986 was definitely using 80% or so of the album's vocal track, pitched up slightly. Very strange, I remember thinking at the time it didn't seem quite right, but it's only when you A-B it with the album version it becomes transparently obvious. Amazed they got away with that one! Is this the version on Backtracks?

Angus used the Gibson SG because it weighed less than the Les. Left him with more energy.

Angus's touch, tone and feel is amazing. He does all the little things so darn well...vibrato, palm muting, varying the pick attack, using the knobs to adjust the p/u dynamics. He's more like a great Bluesman (like Muddy, BB, Freddie King, SRV, old school Hendrix/Clapton/Page/Gilmour). He can squeeze so much out of a single note. Love it!

It's precious that the band members are playing face to face. The movement is smaller than during their live , but Angus's performance is also the best.
