Honestly, I don't like that Lorier cut corners by puting Acrylic/Plexiglass crystals in their watches, which can scratch. Today, most micro-brands and Chinese watches have Sapphire crystal in their watches - did you mention that the Tudor is COSC certified??? Mine even came with a COSC certificate. I would never buy one of these watches ... too expensive and they are not great.

Just got to meet Laura and Lorenzo briefly at a watch show yesterday. Awesome watches and seem like great people. I knew of lorier but I didn't know what I was missing until I tried them on. All of their watches fit great on most wrist and are beautiful. I think the finishing is rough but I dont mind it because of the vintage aethestic they try to capture. Definitely will be getting a Neptune or Hyperion. I always liked the BB but hate the hands they use. I am one of those people that needs a pointed hand to tell time accurately. The thing i like the most (besides the vintage look) is how narrow the lugs get. They transition into the strap so well and that's something even rolex and tudor dont do. I understand its because of heritage probably, but the flatter lugs really make the watch feel like it molds to your wrist compared to a more traditional case.

Have they increased the price? I checked the website and it says pre-booking at a higher price

I just got to see a black bay 58 GMT in person for the first time and it really impressed me.

Just picked up my green dial today. Still dont know how I feel. I just put it in my Almirah till im sure i wanna wear it outside.

The black gmt 58 is my next perfect size for a bitter, if you buy a used Tudor you don’t loose much if the watch is in good condition 😊

I’m saving up I’m a about 60% of the way there but I’m looking at the Rolex date just with a fluted white gold dial about 11000 euros But I’ve recently fell in love with the tudor 1926 around 1700 euros I think they’re both beautiful watches but im hesitant about which one to get

Wearing the Rolex screams, whilst the Tudor and Monta whisper. Personally, I would not enjoy the unwanted, and possibly malign, attention.

I am considering the Blackbay, but the Monta is really tempting. Thanks for the great comparison!

I have had my Monta Triumph (last green dial) for a few weeks and I have slept in it several times no problem, it is maintaining a little under +4 sec/day after 22 days normal wear, better than COSC, when purchasing I compared it to the Rolex Explorer and the Tudor Ranger and decided it was a great value, I'd like to hear what other think.

Great video. I got a review of the Coke model coming soon. I have to disagree on your bracelet comparison to the black bay though. I 10000 times prefer the Monta bracelet over the black bay bracelet. The taper is way better and the Monta bracelet less bulky and without the stupid faux rivets

Great review! I’m ok with aluminum bezels; I like things that wear uniformly with time, and ceramic staying perfect when the rest of the watch is scratched may look odd. I have a BB58 & a Squale 1545 GMT, and I’ve considered selling both & getting this Monta or a Longines GMT.

Everyone obsessed with wrist size lol. To everyone saying it’s too big, remember 1. It’s a sports watch.. 2. Cameras make watches look bigger as they’re closer to the lens 3. Your wrist looks skinnier when you’re holding your arm in the position as if you’re checking the time because your radius and ulna bones cross. The watch is fine. It’s a bigger style sports watch.
